An alternative theory of the universe just got a major boost, is it compatible with any of the multiverse theories like inflation, many world's, interacting many worlds, ect...?
I hate being a Debbie Downer, but again this is exaggerated for a news story. The authors of the paper managed to show a timeless holographic theory can replicate some of the predictions of the Big Bang theory. It's not a proof, just an indication that such theories aren't the dead end some thought they were. However they've a long way to go to match the level of support the standard picture of cosmology has.

(Standard picture = Universe expands under the influence of matter and Dark Energy curving space)

It's essentially unrelated to the the many-worlds interpretation, as it's an alternative theory of gravity while Many-Worlds is an interpretation of QM, but would be compatible with it.
