Mmm. Tastes like internal bleeding and catastrophic damage from massive g-forces!

Does this announcement mean your infernal homebrew is permanently done rather than just on hold?

What really dropped the ball I feel is that in the second half of season it became formulaic whereas most of the other seasons before it and even the first half of season 3 it felt like there was some knew or unexpected twist. While it was neat to see the backstories of the character's pasts detailed and the return of THE HERO!!! it fell short because of this I felt.
Just as a curiosity, coming from someone who was pretty much onboard episode by episode with GX, but does admit there were some implementation problems in hindsight*, is it a 'this was actually a bad season' for you, or more 'this wasn't AS GOOD as the last two seasons were', because I could buy the latter by a lot, but there's a lot of RUINED FOREVER on the internet about GX just for being a 7/10 compared to the last two seasons.

            * Carol's motivations being basically deconstructed in front of her face and her shrugging it off because "combusting memories" was kind of lame after our previous antagonists. However, some of the second half I appreciate, most notably the B-team taking advantage of a certain last second bit of help from Mr. Hero but NOT giving him the recognition he wanted. Just because the crazy ranting man may have a point about your issues doesn't make him correct, and seeing no one really being upset by him dying was actually kind of cute. He'd absolutely hate it, and that's perfect.

Not an anime related question, but I'll answer it anyways.

Still on hold. Unless something happens that literally kills my motivation for it I do want to come back and try to finish it.

These are not anime from the 80's or 90's.

Oh don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. The only thing I felt they failed hard on was the X-Drive combination attacks (A battlebot? Seriously?). It may be the weakest out of all the series yes, but we still see things like suplexing a space shuttle or the B team growing up. I mean hell who doesn't like more DESSstrike? Carol basically pulling out a Hell and Heaven Giga Drill Break that made my face light up like a happy baby? All of these things were amazing.

Given they're doing ANOTHER season I'm kind of wondering what the hell they're going to do next. Something like Nanoha in the future, Symphogear wars? Sky's the limit.

What is the worst OVA you've watched to completion? You can limit that to '80s and '90s I suppose, though there just aren't anywhere near as many OVAs coming out these days to try to claim that particular crown.

Also, for the record, I'm more excited for what you're working on than whatever announcements Rich may or may not be making soonish.

Is Sesshōmaru as cool as Rin thinks he is?

Dunno, tend to stay away from anime's I dislike. Naruto, despite how much I dislike it, did have a few neat OVA's. However in terms of bad movies or OVA's it'd have to be something like the second and third Broly movies from DBZ. Pure ugh, would rather watch Dragonball that was retconned out of existance.

Inuyasha started in the mid-90's, so I suppose this is acceptable.

Sesshōmaru is infinitely better of a villain than Naraku ever will be in his stupid baboon cloak.

Just finished the 5th chapter, probably the most challenging part of the new protect with all of the strange new things I had to make and am not overly familiar with, but hey it was fun.

Now for the last chapter, which is mostly done aside from adding a few things to flesh out the entire project. Release date hasn't changed, but I can probably say with certainty that unless a car crashes into my house that I'll have this done in time.

I wouldn't be so cavalier. Exalted took the Wraith curse into itself when it used Wraith as a the basis of the Underworld, and then dialed up the influences (including the Tempest) for EX3. And one of the first manifestations of the Wraith curse, according to playtest anecdotes from the back of the first edition book, was that a pizza delivery guy's car hit a phone pole and the group had to get him out of the vehicle on danger of it catching on fire.

All the chapters are done, all 270 pages of it.

Still have some things left before release. Mainly going through it and checking to see if I missed anything, adding intro fictions for each chapter, etc...
