They're still spirits, and treated as such. I imagine they're generally held in decent respect owing to their resemblance to the Elemental Dragons, but they aren't set apart from all other spirits as some sort of untouchable elite or anything.

      Yes.

      Sure.

Yes. If you think that doesn't make sense, stunt a way to make it make sense.

        • Have there been any changes on the concept of how Exigents work? Particularly like if Spirits can do it? Specifically someone of the more hazy basically a god but not style like Swan Dragon in the era of the Great Contagion?

Nope. They haven't really changed since they were first conceptualized, before the core book came out.

Right. They did it in the movie Hero at least, so it's totally doable.

              • Is the idea that the bloodline of leftover children becomes weaker supposed to be baseless or not?

If it is, will the final document excise all references to it weakening bloodline, particularly in the sidebar at the start of chapter 2?

I have approximate knowledge of many things.

                  It's baseless.

                    • I think this may have been discussed already, but if so i have forgotten and can’t find it.

If a Dragon Blooded Dynast man marries a mortal Dynast woman, who joins who’s Household and who’s House are the kids in?

The man joins the woman's household, and the children belong to the woman's house.

So it would generally only be something the DB man’s House matchmaker’s agree to because a mortal marriage is seen as a brief loan-out, and he’ll return to theirfols in a few decades?

There are any number of reasons for such marriages. The woman's household may have powerful connections, or offer valuable gifts, or claim a particularly strong pedigree. Likewise, the man's household might be poor, lacking in connections or prestige, or possess a poor pedigree; and the man himself may be personally unmarriageable for whatever reason.

Alternatively, yes, a male Dragon-Blood being groomed for a leadership role in his house may be married off to a mortal with an eye toward returning to the fold after a mortal lifetime, if he survives.

Would the woman's line being a strong pedigree not be a reason to avoid such marriages? After all, any children of such a marriage belong to the mother's house so the man's house would not benefit from the pedigree at all whereas their rival would.

Right, yes. (Sorry, I probably shouldn't be answering questions before lunchtime.) Though "avoid" is strong; it's not as though every other house is such a rival that household matriarchs try to actively avoid giving children to households they're forming marriage alliances with.
