I wouldn't know for sure unless you put actual numbers to it.
However, if you're making a disease that's too difficult for mortal doctors to deal with then an Exalted doctor would be pretty powerless against an epidemic because they'd be unable to delegate tasks and forced to spend motes on every single patient.

How about I try and write up a bunch of mechanics. Treat the disease as a being with multiple bodies. Heal enough people, or roll medicine rolls well enough, and you'll break its power, transforming the disease from 'no mortal can treat this' to 'this is hard'

Just appreciate the power of the mundane diseases we already have before trying to inflate characteristics like virulence and morbidity, Plague and Hemorrhagic Fever are already at the level where the typical town doctor is going to be frantically trying to make difficulty 5 (Intelligence + Medicine) rolls to save a fraction of the population. The most useful thing about the new disease rules is the three tiers of symptoms which is neat for gradually worsening supernatural afflictions.

What about demon (maybe spirit) that loves to party he seeks companions and party with them... few days latter those who hawe been partying with him fall ill mostlikely with cold though severity and kind of illness is may be adjusted by lenght/intesity of partying or perhaps just uses most prewalent ilness in the area.
Demon itself is sober but gets high as more and more people are ill.
Thre may be other limiting factor like demon itsellf feeing illness(and usually deciding to vacate area) if certain condition are met like drinking certain liquiors or just partying with people under influence of illness.

I thinkpeople think too mych of weaponized anthrax and other weapoinzed delivery mechanism from real world.
I do not think it works well in exalted.. just think of some malovelent force/agent, bad air around infected peole nothing more and nothing more specific. No desigend ilesses just perhaps nastier existing ones.
Only exeption may be curses but then it's curse manifesting itself as illness.

How deadly is it? Cause it feels kinda lukewarm.

Also, have you seen the talethus?

            http://exalted.xi.co.nz/wiki/TheHoverpope/Talethus
            Talethus, The Most Wretched Mendicant

When a creature dies of Derethan's most vile disease, their bodies are consumed from the inside by a demonic parasite. When they die, the demon that has consumed them sloughs off their skin and stands, a Telathus. The Telathi are among the most vile of the lesser demons.

When they walk creation they walk it in the clothes and appearance of a poor travelling religious figure; monks, shamans, preists, and other individuals respected for good works. They avail themselves of the pity of the good-hearted, and when it is granted and a humble family or other good person takes them in, they spread disease as their hosts sleep and leave, touching a single finger to their door to leave a streak of yellow pus as they depart. This is the sign of the Talethus, and it warns others to think twice before acting kindly, unless they want to die sweating and writhing.

            Nature: Follower

            Attributes: Strength 2, Dexterity 1, Stamina 2, Charisma 3, Manipulation 4, Appearance 1, Perception 4, Intelligence 2, Wits 3.
            Virtues: compassion 2, Conviction 3, temperence 3, Valor 3

            Abilities: Awareness 2, Brawl 4, Endurance 2, Occult 1, Presence 3, Resistance 2, Socialize 4, Stealth 5 (appearing healthy +3)
Charms: Donning spiritual armor, details, element touch (disease), Stoke the Flames

            Cost to Materialize: 32

            Base Initiative: 4
Attack: Diseased touch (punch)- speed 4, Accuracy 5, Damage 2L, Defense 6, rate 5
Dodge pool: 0 Soak: 8B/7L (Skin of scabs and sores, 6B/6L)
            Willpower: 5
            Health Levels: -0, -1, -1, -2, -2, -4, I.
            Essence: 2 Essence pool: 47

Other notes: The Telathus' Stoke the flames may be used to evoke only pity, and their donning spiritual armor causes their sores to weep fluid which hardens to a milky yellow pus that soaks the force of blows. This lowers their appearance to 0.

Spending a scene in the presence of a Telathus counts as exposure to typhus, and stagnant water that it touches, up to the size of a town well, becomes contaminated with cholera. They typically use this ability on all of the water in a house before they leave.
