Integrity has a Charm to feed people by giving them a speech about a Principle which is important to you. It's not outside Solar purview to feed people by moving their heart with word or song.

    • It’s probably more about giving people energy and staving off hunger through strengthening their spirit than singing food into existence in their stomachs. Which isn’t so weird when you remember that people’s bodies in Creation aren’t animated by a complex series of neurons firing, but by a pair of ethereal souls fused together inside them.

      • Given that the Magical Ability of Aurochs called War-God's Blessing is treated as a Latent Ability when being trained by a Bride of Ahlat, could a Lunar in Aurochs shape learn this as a Latent Ability under those conditions, or if she herself was a Bride of Ahlat/other person favored by the war god?

        • Or just generally?

I run... Lunars: The Apocalypse! Exalted 3rd edition. Fimbulwinter is upon the world as an Ice Age begins, and only six young Lunar heroes have a chance of saving humanity.

I wonder how you would classify this historical example. Herodotus wrote of the origins of the Etruscans:

In the reign of Arys son of Menes there was a great scarcity of food in all Lydia. For a while the Lydians bore this with patience; but soon, when the famine continued, they looked for remedies, and various plans were suggested. It was then that they invented the games of dice, knuckle-bones, and ball, and all the other games of pastime, except for checkers, which the Lydians do not claim to have invented. Then, using their discovery to forget all about the famine, they would play every other day, all day, so that they would not have to eat. . . . This was their way of life for eighteen years. Since the famine still did not end, however, but grew worse, the king at last divided the people into two groups and made them draw lots, so that one should stay and the other leave the country.

What sort of stunt is it, to develop rituals to help a society bear unusual burdens? Socialize? It seems at least adjacent to Bureaucracy, because you're regulating food distribution in a way that minimizes violence in times of food shortfall. It's pure red tape. Sorry, folks, you can't eat today. Today it's nothing but Ex3!

Isn't there a lore charm that does this for a group of people resisting the wyld? Lore seems like a good choice for this, maybe with Socialize needed to implement it? Sounds like a really cool effect though. Or is it easing the burdens of hunger and not actually feeding them? Which is why they need food every other day? Maybe a sorcerous working that turns enjoyment into nourishment but not food? Cool story though.

              • What would you picture as the typical public relations for stationed Imperial Legions? Are they putting on free amateur performances to endear themselves to locals in prefecture and/or satrapy, or are they more often cultivating an image of distant and unapproachable menace?

                    • Does resisting Soul-Snaring Pitch require a decision point (as normal for a persuade action) or just spending the Willpower?

Implementing bread and circuses to bolster the morale of your populace during a period of hardship would probably be best handled through the project system, although there's multiple ways you could approach it.

It still requires a Decision Point.

They don't automatically realize they've been deceived.

That's a bit more advanced than the examples given, and Flesh-Sculpting Art's magic doesn't really provide anything in the way of help with issues like transplant rejection.

Nah. Just because Brides of Ahlat get a way to train aurochs in it without needing special Charms doesn't mean it's not a magical ability.
