Would this newly exalted wood aspect child be seen as an outcaste upon returning to the isle or is she automatically a Ledaal if she could prove her heritage?
In theory, she's a Ledaal if she can prove her heritage. In practice, proving her heritage is nontrivial; "Hey, I'm really a member of a Great House! See, the matriarch (who wants me in the house) says so!" is too straightforward a scam for bypassing the Dynasty's adoption rules for it to be accepted solely on your word or the house's word.

I don't think the books present specifics for dealing with this, so how it plays out is up to the Storyteller. But it probably involves being vetted by the Diligent Monitors of the Diffusion of Divine Essence (The Realm. p. 54), fighting off claims of falsification of identity pressed against you by rivals via the Imperial courts, or a ruling from the Deliberative. You can also falsify your records to support your real but unsupported claim (Dragon-Blooded, p. 104).

    • Aria of Victory says that the willpower it grants must be spent to resist influence or add a success to an action before their next turn. Is the bit saying what it must be spent on a reminder of what willpower is by default spent on, or a rule about what this willpower can be spent on. Ie. can the willpower be spent on charms, or sorcery spells?

When legions are rotated through Greyfalls, what path do they travel to get there? Is there a band of Realm-controlled territory, or do they need to force foreign governments to allow them to pass? Do they carry food with them, buy food, pillage food, or use some other method to acquire food on their travel?

      • Do the house specific effects of Heirloom artifacts still work for estranged scions?

(and could this be used as a form of identification, perhaps?)

        • So Summon Elemental has a pretty strong E1-3 limit, as does First Circle Demon. Can you tell us how the Fae binding works in that regard, since a Cataphract at E2 is significantly more dangerous looking than a blood ape?

          • Will Solar charms as the ceiling of power be something baked into the mechanics for charm creation in Exigent, or will it be possible to create even more powerful Exalts?

            • For Steel Devil’s Double Attack Technique does boosting your defense boost it for just the first attack, or does it also boost all subsequent defences along the other 1-2 attacks?

Exigents will provide homebrew guidelines; you won't be feeding numbers into a mathematical formula to get a Developer-Approved Charm™. Flavorwise, Exigents aren't supposed to be Super-Exalts who are "even more powerful" than Solars, but if everyone in your gaming group is cool with your homebrewing Exigent Charms that are stronger than Solar Charms, nothing in the book will stop you.

It's a limit on what that Willpower can be spent on.

In the interest of streamlining attack resolution, I'd just have them declare defensive Charms once and have it apply for each instance of resolution. That parallels how offensive Charms interact with it, so I guess I can claim that as the text supporting my interpretation.

It's not perfectly parallel to Summon Elemental/Demon of the First Circle.

Yeah. The heirloom cares about whether you belong to the house, not whether you're on good terms with it.

They're not very good for that, as Eric's done a great job of making sure all heirloom effects are still accessible to Dragon-Blooded of the wrong house.

                        • Can non-Dragon-Blooded (Lunars in one's shape, perfectly disguised Solars, and so on) access the Sea of Mind, become Numen or make use of any of the Forest Witch mechanics assuming they manage to finesse their way into being allowed to interact with these things, or are they solely Dragon-Blooded mechanics?

Neither the Sea of Mind nor becoming a numen are limited to Dragon-Blooded on a mechanical or metaphysical level.

                                I've never seen/read Berserk
