  • Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal (violent imagery and body trauma that may be disturbing)

My mind first goes to a place of this being a look for the very earliest Exalted, just starting to wade into what would become the war, but I'd also say it could be mined for imagery of the world at the very edge of Creation.

    Sick.Wicked Sick.

I really want to make my players run through this world. Maybe when I send them to the Caul.

The familiar charms in survival are perfect for playing this guy.

Ah yes, I forgot about the Caul functioning as a dedicated arena for a primeval world.

If dinos & megafauna serve as any indicator, there should be plenty of room in Creation as is outside of Threshold (or even some peculiar spots that are kind of still part of it, like the Caul).

Bull of the North dresses more slickly, but himself got the moniker bringing down a male (bull) mammoth, no?

Wait what? I thought he was named after something more like an Auroch, and I thought it was a name he got after Exaltation because of his Anima Banner. Am I wrong?

He indeed got it after his exaltation, but no relattion to Aurochs afaik. The thing with the mammoth is how i remember it from Castebook: Dawn at least, but it has been quite sometime, so i could be wrong. But anyway mammoths are very much a thing that require no special places to fit even close to the Threshold.

I think Elk was his tribe from before exaltation but could be wrong....

You are correct, can confirm, this is what the Dawnbook says. I think the most important takeaway is that he wasn't named for a bovine, and the "Too Perfect" sidebar in Sidereals 2e was running on a very different set of assumptions about the setting than what we got.

Aah yeah, the power of some writer not checking out on its sources and creating a contradiction & confusion along the way.
