      You mean the siege weapon?

      Your attacks get bonuses on battle groups and fortresses, and can split up into multiple bolts.

      Can force enemies to flee if you hit them with a sustained bombardment.

      Enemies formation get disrupted by a hit, making them easy pickings for other battle groups. Put this as a temporary penalty.

            They both say to use the Solar’s personality and iconic anima manifestation as inspiration, but nonetheless the only way I’ve ever thought of to square the circle of what Evocations are supported by a composition of pure solidified Solar Essence and a “legend” of being a Solar Charm is to just cheat it by saying “Any hypothetical Solar Charm whose description hinges on having a Glorious Solar Saber/Plate is an Evocation of Glorious Solar Saber/Plate.”

              These should be based on the Solars personality and deeds—they are the Solars Essence made a weapon or armor. A blood thirsty Zentig might have a blade that drives others into a frenzy, a wise Dawn might have armor that predicts enemy attacks, etc

                Oh ideas for charms?

                Add ons to food gathering Method and Ration enhancing practice


                Letting y ou find not so meager fare.

                Like hunt down rare animals or find tasty hard to find herbs you can use to cook with (or sell for a profit)

                  But first, a question. Cecylene locust mana plague. What so you think of its mind affecting function? Good? Bad? Should be toggable? Shouldn't exist? Should be a bit more subtle?

                      For my 3E game we treated it as a straight "Automatically succeed at an Instill action for the Principle "I obey the laws of hell" regardless of Resolve". Like any other Minor Intimacy, it can be resisted for 1WP, and only raised to Major with a Supporting Intimacy. Otherwise, brightly colored locusts feeds you for a day if you eat one, can be candied to preserve them.

                        I use the rule of thumb that 1 initiative is worth between 1 and 2 motes.
                        This can depend on things like what splat it's for (or for evocations whether it's resonant/neutral/dissonant), how high the requirements and prerequisites are, how often the charm can be used, how reliably it gives the initiative, etc.

                        For some examples - Reed in the Wind spends 2i in place of 2m, Flow Like Blood upgrades it to 1i in place of 2m.
                        Fire and Stones Strike spends 1m for 1 withering or decisive damage. 1 decisive damage is like 1i if you hit, so like (probability of hitting) initiative in general. 1 withering damage gains you on average 1/2 an initiative, and costs the enemy the same amount, so is also worth in total (probability of hitting) initiative
                        Striving Aftershock Method spends 2m for 2i, but only after landing a decisive attack

                        • MOTHERS FEED THEIR CHILDREN

                          The Infernal blesses a large lake sized body of water with the Kimberryian Essence. Or more accurately, the Kimberryian essence that tends to nurture her children. This causes the beings within the body of water to quicken and grow at supernatural speeds, and all harvests of the food within are nutritious, tasty, and bring in rich hauls. The food can take the form of seaweed, underwater insects, crustaceans, fish, jellyfish, or marine mammals. A single usage of this charm lasts for a year and a day, and feeds a Essence + 1 size population. This can be stacked up to three times on the same body of water.

                          Eating this food is nutritious and prevents all form of malnutrition. All mealtimes involving this food counts as a scene of building a minor intimacy of "gratitude and thankfulness" to the person who used the charm. Coincidentally the charm kills all parasites and diseases like cholera and tapeworm, burning them with caustic acid.

                          • Some ideas for an evocation for a woodd aspected Immaculates Powerbow think its reasonable to let it be used as a wrackstaff if hes in a Melee?

                            Want to grant some benefits to Melees and to ranged combat too.

                            Wood Immaculates will probaly study archery charms too.

                              ORGANISATION SYNCHRONIZATION

                              Prereq: SWLIHN excellency

                              SWLIHN is the patron and goddess of all systems, all hierarchies, and all patterns. In crystal facets, in fractals, and in the patterns that humans organise themselves into. The Infernal blesses an organisation with the efficiency and simplicity of She Who Lives in Her Name. It can be a girl scout troop, a restaurant chain, a manufacturing company, a bank, or an orphanage. Either way, things are done with near perfect precision and a minimum of fuss. Aberrations, like corruption or inefficiency or redundant paperwork, are burned away, made to shape up, or thrown out. This removes corrupt or indolent members, or wasteful practices. All members gain a minor positive intimacy to the organization and the organization's goals, whether its checking licenses or setting up death camps.


                              PATTERN PROTECTION PRANA

                              Prerequisites: Organisation synchronization

                              SWLIHN is crystalline perfection, and her facets are often the last thing Chaos ever sees before they are transmuted to Order. Same goes for anything that attempts to damage the blessed patterns and organisations of SWLIHN. Everyone in the organization with an intimacy that can be interpreted to advance the organization's goals uses the intimacy in their resolve against any bribe, intimidate, threaten, or social attacks, as well as gaining the Infernal's essence in bonus dice. A clerk trying to write up someone for pretending to be a thaumaturge can be convinced to wait for a week for a witness or paperwork. A noblewoman trying to seduce an investigator or magistrate to ignore the allegations of Necromancy will find her efforts stymied.

                              This is upgraded at Essence 3 to extend to physical issues, like rolls to resist hardship when working in a hot desert or fighting off attackers trying to sabotage a project. Or even resisting diseases that prevent you from working.

                              This effect ceases if the individual leaves the organization.

                              COG-ENHANCING-CORRECTION*
                              Cost: 4m
                              Essence: 2
                              Prerequisites: Organisation Synchronization
                              Duration: Task

                              Sometimes you just have to work with the materials you have. No matter. They can be improved and enhanced. All people involved in a project are considered to have (Essence x 2) bonus to carry it out and removes the untrained penalty. An Infernal with Essence 2 who uses this charm is considered to have workers who have 4 extra dice to carry out any roll, whether in crafting, bureaucracy, or research. Workers are considered to have a major intimacy to completing the project.

                              MASS COORDINATION CHANT

                              Essence: 3
                              Prerequisites: Cog-Enhancing-Correction
                              Duration: Task


                              An upgrade to Cog-Enhancing-Corection. As long as there are great masses of disparate elements, SWLIHN can take them, organize them, and bring them to new heights that would be considered impossible by other more limited and chaotic minds. This charm enhances any wide-scale project enhanced by cog-enhancing-correction, increasing its possible scope by (Essence). A great palace which should have been built in years now instead takes mere months. Materials spontaneously transform into better vesions of themselves, or craftsmen find out new techniques that let them do more with less. Difficulty of extended rolls, time between extended rolls, and resources costs are considered to be reduced by (Essence).

                              Prerequisites: Locust Mana Plague

                              All things turn to sand and grit. All things owe themselves to hierarchy. All things are touched by the infinite desert. All actions to the infernal which can be constituted as 'prayer', count as a scene of building an intimacy to the infernal. This can include reciting a pledge of allegiance to the Infernal, reading out loud poetry praising her and her goodness in class, or reciting a promise in her name. This can build up to major intimacy of loyalty and devotion, but no more than that.

                              YOU OWE ME
                              Cost: 3m
                              Mins: Essence 2
                              Prerequisites: Verdant emptiness Endowment.

                              Even if she did not benefit them directly, Cecylene's sands still touch people when they benefit from her actions. This lets the Infernal use her actions as leverage towards people who do not have direct contact with her. If the Infernal helps direct a trading caravan to a town, leading to booming business or new popular goods on the market, then her target counts as having a minor intimacy of gratefulness to her. If the Infernal helps with something even more, like creating Water for a community who's well had dried up or shattering killing the slavers who had kidnapped a towns people, she can have the target have a major intimacy of gratefulness to her.***

                              *This needs a lot of rebalancing to make sure it isn't broken.

                              • Regalia of the Raiton (Moonsilver silken armor, Artifact 4)

                                The dark feathers of spirit raitons have been joined together to dark gray and black enchanted silk via a fine mesh of moonsilver wire. Gloves and boots and belt are likewise threaded through with the shimmering magical metal. The last piece of this terrifying regalia is a menacing bird-faced mask, the creation of Shalrina, Daimyo of Faces.
                                The Regalia of the Raiton does not count as armor for the purpose of compatibility with martial arts.

                                Resonant: An user who is Resonant with the Regalia may pay 4m while gliding to supplement a Rush against a ground-based opponent; if successful, she may apply the extra successes as dice on the damage roll of her next withering attack against the Rushed opponent.

                                Swift Sable Thought
                                Cost: 3m; Mins: Essence 2
                                Type: Simple
                                Keywords: None
                                Duration: One scene
                                Prerequisite Charms: On Wings of Night
                                No puzzle is beyond the raiton's cunning; while this Evocation is active, the Exalt may reroll ones on rolls to Case Scene, Profile Character, Read Intentions, or diagnose a patient, and denies her ones to enemy magic. If the information she gathers with such rolls are pertinent to an Intelligence-based roll in the same scene, that roll gains a similar benefit.

                                Raiton Finds Corpse

                                Type: Permanent
                                Keywords: None
                                Duration: Permanent
                                Prerequisites: On Wings of Night
                                The eyes of the raiton are attuned to death, its tongue to the taste of carrion. The Exalt gains double 9s on Perception rolls that would reveal a corpse or other remains, or an undead foe in stealth. If the roll already benefits from double 9s, it instead gains a non-Charm success.

                                Black Messenger of the Dead
                                Cost: 3m; Mins: Essence 2
                                Type: Reflexive
                                Keywords: None
                                Duration: One scene
                                Prerequisites: On Wings of Night, Spirit-Detecting Glance OR Perceiving the Hidden World OR Spirit-Detecting Mirror Technique
                                The Exalt grants her voice to the bodiless; if she witnesses a dematerialized spirit with one of her Charms, she may act as a conduit to the material for it. Doing so lets the spirit speak with her voice, though it is apparent to onlookers that the words are not her own. The spirit uses its own dice pools for social influence.
                                If the Exalt desires to speak for herself again or otherwise wishes to sever the connection, this Evocation may not be used on the same spirit in the same scene.
                                Special: This Evocation is unlocked for free when the Exalt delivers a message to a material creature on the behalf of a dematerialized spirit.

                                Pronouncement of the Feathered Justice
                                Cost: 3m; Mins: Essence 2
                                Type: Supplemental
                                Keywords: Resonant
                                Duration: Instant
                                Prerequisite Charms: Swift Sable Thought, Black Messenger of the Dead
                                The raiton spots the flaw in her foe's armor; realizing this, the foe is filled with terror of her thrusting beak. This Evocation supplements a Threaten action using information gleaned from a successful Read Intentions or Profile Character action against the target. The Threaten gains double 9s, and if successful, the target automatically gains a Tie of fear toward the Exalt at Minor intensity.
                                The Tie cannot be eroded normally, but may be suppressed for a scene by spending 1wp. Once the target has spent (Essence) Willpower suppressing his fear the Intimacy may be removed normally.
                                Resonant: This Evocation may be repurchased at Essence 4 creates the imposed Tie at Major intensity.

                                Night and Day Method

                                Prerequisites: Swift Sable Thought, Raiton Finds Corpse, Heart-Eclipsing Shroud
                                When the Solar assumes one of her personas via Heart-Eclipsing Shroud, the Raiton Regalia shifts its appearance to fit the persona's concept: for a wealthy noble, it might take the appearance of a black silk frock coat chased with silver feathers and a silver circlet; for a pirate captain, it may be a cloth-of-silver tricorne hat with a tattered black naval waistcoat and silver rings. Furthermore, the Solar may spend five motes and gain 1 Limit to assume the persona over the course of one round. However, the Solar may not use Night and Day Method to speed her next change of personas in this fashion.
                                Special: This Evocation cannot be purchased with experience points; it is unlocked for free when the Solar spends at least one scene each in two different personas over the course of one story.

                                Bloodcurdling Reafan Banner
                                Cost: 5m; Mins: Essence 3
                                Type: Reflexive
                                Keywords: None
                                Duration: One scene
                                Prerequisite Charms: Black Messenger of the Dead, Swift Sable Thought
                                Phantasmal raitons trail in the Exalt's wake, speaking the words of the dead. The spectral raitons penalize Stealth attempts by the Exalt as though her anima was at Glowing (but does not stack with the penalty of a Glowing anima). She adds an automatic non-Charm success to her threaten actions; enemy battle groups raise the difficulty of rout and rally rolls by 1.
                                The spirit-raitons may also serve as relays to an allied battle group, allowing the Solar to make Intelligence-based command actions out to extreme range at no penalty.

                                Black Feathered Shadow
                                Cost: --(3m); Mins: Essence 3
                                Type: Permanent

                                Duration: Permanent
                                Prerequisites: Raiton Finds Corpse, Black Messenger of the Dead
                                Darkness embraces the raiton and hides it from its prey. The first time in a scene that the Exalt successfully Crashes or incapacitates a non-trivial enemy from stealth, she may spend 3m to reflexively make a Threaten roll against all enemies who witness the takedown, ignoring the penalty for influencing multiple targets. Her demands on the Threaten action must be actions relevant to the immediate combat.
                                If any of the targets have been affected by Pronouncement of the Feathered Justice, witnessing the takedown increases the Tie of fear to the Exalt by one degree of intensity.

                                Many Graves Burial

                                Type: Supplemental

                                Prerequisite Charms: Raiton Finds Corpse, Swift Sable Thought
                                A scavenger knows what a scavenger seeks; the Exalt supplements a Conceal Evidence action, allowing her to hide the truth in moments. Any 1s and 2s rolled on a Case Scene action cause the seeker to lose a success. If the seeker fails to find any clues, the Exalt regains a point of Willpower.

                                Shining Silver Theft
                                Cost: 4m; Mins: Essence 3
                                Type: Supplemental
                                Keywords: Mute, Psyche
                                Duration: Instant
                                Prerequisite Charms: Raiton Finds Corpse, Black Messenger of the Dead
                                Eyes shining with avarice, the Exalt plants an illusion, to ensure her clever theft will go unnoticed. This Evocation enhances a pickpocketing attempt; if her successful roll is also higher than her victim's Resolve, not only does she steal the item, but the victim believes he still carries the pilfered item, seeing an illusory copy in his mind's eye. The belief may be broken by spending 2wp, but if the discrepancy is pointed out to him or he attempts to use the stolen item and finds it doesn't work, the cost is decreased by 1wp.

                                Memories of the Rook
                                Cost: 1wp; Mins: Essence 4
                                Type: Reflexive
                                Keywords: None
                                Duration: Instant
                                Prerequisite Charms: Swift Sable Thought, Black Feathered Shadow, Spirit-Maintaining Maneuver
                                Even if the Solar has forgotten her purpose, the Regalia remembers. If a Psyche effect removes, overwrites, or erases her memories, she may restore her true memories by spending a Willpower after either successfully asserting Resolve in defense of an Intimacy tied to the lost memories, or by using the Intimacy in a decision point. If an enemy was responsible for the effect that caused the Solar to lose her memories, the sudden shattering of the enchantment causes him to lose a point of Willpower.

                                Uncanny Feathered Intruder
                                Cost: --; Mins: Essence 4
                                Type: Permanent
                                Keywords: None
                                Duration: Permanent
                                Prerequisites: Black Messenger of the Dead, Many Graves Burial
                                The Exalt's persistence flies her through the most heavily-guarded fortress. Succeeding on an opposed Stealth roll against a non-trivial character grants her two motes. These motes can only be spent on Charms to create or enhance further Stealth attempts.

                                Grim Psychopomp Method
                                Cost: 3m, 1wp; Mins: Essence 4
                                Type: Simple
                                Keywords: Resonant
                                Duration: Indefinite
                                Prerequisites: Raiton Finds Corpse, Pronouncement of the Feathered Justice
                                Following in the raiton's path, a wraith's bonds are stricken and he flies free. The Exalt may, with a touch, subsume a willing ghost into her anima; the ghost takes the form of a spectral raiton. The Exalt may use the ghost's Major and Defining Intimacies to defend against social influence as though they were hers. For the rest of the scene after she does so, however, she must act in accordance with that Intimacy.
                                If the Exalt encounters the being responsible for the death that created a ghost she has subsumed, she may use Pronouncement of the Feathered Justice on him as if she had pierced his Guile. Incapacitating the killer or otherwise ensuring that justice is served lets the ghost move on into Lethe.

                                ​Resonant​: As the ghost fades away, it vents a point of the Exalt's Limit.
