So they can be fretted over and interacted with, not ignored.

While the history of Scottish resistance to England has actually also been a subject I've been watching and reading things about over the past week, I'm not getting that from that particular museum.

That being said, I've revised my thoughts on the matter. The question of the total legality of anybody who might fall into the line of succession is not completely irrelevant, but is still often an ambiguous enough thing to serve as a basis for competition over a throne.

James Francis Edward Stuart didn't argue his claim before a court of law or something, he incited an uprising among followers who were motivated by a number of factors more sophisticated than "we must respect the true line of succession" but where the strength of one's claim to the throne is a basis for asserting legitimacy. Even with the Act of Succession, English authorities rested a bit easier when Stuarts nominally in the direct line of succession faded away.

So sure, a Lunar child of the Scarlet Empress is probably excluded from the succession as a matter of course, and would be fiercely opposed by virtually any Dynasty and any devout Immaculate, there could conceivably by people in the Realm opposed to the established order who would see the benefit of pressing somebody who still technically possesses a form of continuity and legitimacy in the traditional structure, rather than a total stranger.

Like they would waste their time on something not even worth a snack - specially with animas for that extra heartburn.

The link I posted shows carp are mostly regarded as freshwater fish but they have one exception. It would be the same if I mentioned shark, which hey is a good totem choice, sharks are mostly regarded as Saltwater fish but they are not without an exception for freshwater tolerance.

But hey I’m sure that’s friendly etiquette you display in real life encounters going all “heh blah blah blah pleb”.

Let me personally thank you for contributing to the friendliness of the Forums for taking the time to dunk on a rando in a smug manner over actually making suggestions to the topic of discussion first. I sure that endears you to people IRL.
The solution to passive agressiveness isn't overt aggression with a little wink to make it look playful. You're not being infracted for this but it can't keep happening.

Or why not a Giant Mongrel Koi, aquatic Lunars could live in streams, lakes or coasts and they would have some interesting auspicious connotations, a carp lunar could even represent the bounty of the sea..

Lunars and Koi / Carp totems make me think of Avatar.

Here's another idea: maybe a featheted clawstrider (i prefer them that way btw) or a feathered relative of tyrant lizards. That would give a feathered dragon warform.

                      Thinking out loud sgain

Why? The giant moon fish god was awesome!

Maybe they were thinking of the Blue White Savior movie by James Cameron?

A dove Lunar with animal control charms could sabotage all Dynastic open-air events. The economic downturn of having every dynast ordering Collar of Dawn's Cleansing Lights would be noticeable.
