  • fan made sourcebooks

I sadly did not get into exalted and the white wolf fandoms before the switch to onyx path. as such, I have only scraps of what was made fore. tantalizing teases of cool things. I ask you, are there more fan made sourcebooks in the vien of nocternals and eternals? and if so, can you direct me to where I can get my hands on a pdf copy?

I already have nocternals and eternals, so yeah. and sorry to any mods I might get angry with this thread. my posting privilages only came a few days ago.

Long ago, a good 12 years plus a guy in the Exalted Compendium Redux wrote a supplement for the Long Second Age.

Imagine creation much like the modern age technology (no internet though) where theme Wyld Hunt is more like Men in Black.

Great write-up, piles of custom gunklaive (yes gun and a sword) charms, driving charms, the whole bit.

WW offered to buy it from him and turn it into a 1e supplement.

He said no, that it should remain free and open to all.

Principled, I guess. Long term? Stupid and proud.

Now it's gone and few fans if any remember it.

I tried digging for it 5years ago and came up with nothing. Most of the fans from that period are gone and replaced by new ones with no recollection of such a thing.

Another tidbit: The first Exalted compendium forum held so much custom content in it. Charms, artifacts, nations and so much more. Vibrant discussion (with a healthy dose of early 2000s "fuck you and die" toxicity thrown in too.) The owner (Yoshi, I believe) let the site lapse and let it all be destroyed, why I couldn't tell you. The founder of the Exalted compendium Redux offered to pay Yoshi for it, who said no.

Nocternals have been kicking around for a long time, and I think go back to the Compendium days in 2004. Some of the "new" types in official 3E have been kicking around in some time also and go back the Compendium days. Liminals being the memorable one for me.

What you're asking for is part of the problem that I allude to in my earlier post: A substantial part Exalted fanbase has quit the game and moved on... And so has much of their custom content. i.e. People letting the old wikis die or letting their websites lapse.

That's true. If you search scribd.com you can find some fan exalted material there.

You don't need to pay, you join, upload some kind of junk word file, and then get to download stuff in return. They also have free monthly trials on the regular.

JiveX had my favorite Fanmade stuff for 2nd Edition, along with the already mentioned Nocturnals by Reminiscent Oasis.

I tried that, but I stopped in the middle. I might do it again though.

Is this the book in question?
