A wise Lawgiver knows how to gift a mortal a spark of the Sun's own light and thereby light a flame. A still wiser Lawgiver knows how to ignite the fires of heroism by denying it. Setting a hand on a mortal, she wills a flood of Solar Essence to torrent through him, but only for a few brief moments. With a smile, she conveys to him that he does not need that power to be a hero, only his own strength of heart and will, and that he may even someday turn the head of the Most High.

Filled with certainty in the truth of it and still warm from the afterglow, he acquires a Major Intimacy of self-confidence. So long as it lasts, he receives a point of Willpower when facing adversity, and may channel Willpower for 2 successes in the scene in which he does so.

    • Y'know I was working on a full Adamant-Circle spell for Expanding Void Sun, but then it got grabbed by Vance. Oh well! Here's what I had, incomplete, because might as well not waste the effort:

      Expanding Void Sun
Cost: 77m, 3wp; Circle: Adamant; Type: Simple (Dramatic Action)
      Keywords: Area Effect, Component, Obvious
Duration: Until the orb is consumed

To begin this spell, the sorcerer first requires a orb of pure tin. Upon this orb he must inscribe the seventy-seven Runes of Eternity, which describe the wheel of ages and the cycle of birth and betrayal that rules all things. Each rune must have one mote imbedded within it, causing it to pulse rythmically with power. Doing so requires a dramatic Stamina + Linguistics action, difficulty 7, that takes seventy-seven straight hours of inscription, one hour for each rune.

Then the sorcerer raises the orb into the air with his left hand. His anima rises up to a full bonfire, leaping off his body whole and encircling the orb like the corona of a solar eclipse.

Sidereal Larceny, building off of Name-Pilfering Practice

Threads of fate are intertwined, and by pulling one may another follow. While the Sidereal has stolen someone's name with Name-Pilfering Practice, he may continue to pull on the thread of their fate, dislodging their reputation and social standing. This effect is a gradual shift in the world's perception, a lowering of grade; a king might become a princeling, or a master tradesman a journeyman. A priest seems to become an acolyte, or a farmer becomes a farmhand. Each stacked use of this Charm upon the same person steps them down even further: the princeling becomes a noble, or a journeyman a novice. This Charm doesn't affect their skills, just what everyone perceives the person as.

Activated in response to a damaging attack, this Charm reforges the user's anima into phantom armour using the force of the blow. This cancels out anima flux for the Charm's duration.

Baleful Meteor Flare (Terrestrial Thrown; Earth favoured)
This Charm ignites a projectile of stone, clay, or jade with a blinding white flame, allowing the Son of Pasiap to use it in one of two ways. It may either be launched at extreme range, resolving as a normal attack, or deal a terrifying crippling blow to a target at close range.
If the Exalted has at least three dots of War, either use of thisCharm has an increased chance of routing battle groups.

EDIT: There appears to have been a split again. Let's seal it shut.

The Viziers are well-aware that what seemed insignificant at the time may save one's life later, or end another's.

This charm gives the Sidereal the ability to store up to her Essence in mundane, non-martial objects she could carry in one hand Elsewhere for one mote each. While so stored, they will not degrade or decay, although particularly "fresh" qualities--such as the aroma of just-baked bread or the heat of steel fresh from a forge--will fade at a natural rate.

When the Sidereal draws one of these items from storage and uses it, she doubles her stunt dice for whatever action the item supplements.

Because, as should be manifestly obvious, I'm a huge Abyssals fanboy, but the fact that they can't establish their own personal Underworlds always bothered me, so:

              Abyssal Bureaucracy
The Unconquered Sun claims to be the king of all Creation. The defeated Yozis make the same claim, and the Neverborn would if they could claim anything. But an Abyssal knows the truth: all things come to he who takes them. With this Charm the Abyssal claims an area in the Underworld as her own personal kingdom. She may add features to her kingdom as if it were a manse, and benefits from the extra motes while in her kingdom. Ghosts will readily accept her command, but they will also expect her to settle their grievances; an Abyssal who persistently fails may be the subject of a ghostly revolt, which may not kill or even unseat them but certainly bodes ill for the kingdom. She may expand it, both by ruling well and by claiming territory through conquest, but she must beware of others who don't like her encroaching on personal space.

                A Quiver Full of Sorrows

CMA, Needles of the 7 Despairs Style (form weapons: Arrows, Javelins, Needles, String*)

The martial artist strikes his target with a flat palm over the heart and rolls what would otherwise be a normal social Investigation action to reveal intimacies. On a success, he pinpoints his adversary's deepest disappointments in himself and pulls them out, one per extra success, to form them into long thin needles that can be used as any mundane (albeit of exceptional quality) Form weapon for this style, adding a bonus of +2 accuracy and the piercing tag. Alternatively, the martial artist can enhance a weapon in her posession with the provided bonuses by reflexively coating it with the extracted sorrow.

Each successful attack with such a weapon that dealt at last 1 level of damage creates an inviolable sorcerous intimacy for the rest of the scene that restricts the target's actions unless she spends 1 point of willpower per such intimacy.
(e.g. The target might be reminded of his long-lost brother, whom he failed to rescue from slavery and seems to have a lot in common with the Martial Artist (though this need not actually be the case) and so is restricted from attacking the martial artist while looking at him)

                * a pre-requisite charm allows string and string-like things (such as hair) to be made solid as needles.

                But Sexually.
                Terrestrial Fire-Aspected Presence.

The Dragonblooded are known for their heated passions and larger-than-life desires. This charm rouses such intensity even in the common mortal. By teasing a glimpse of any portion of their body that could be considered sexually inviting and making it appear as the perfect combination of warmth, tenderness and strength, the Dragonblood fans the flames of existing desire into spectacular bonfires. For as long as motes remain commited, any action the target takes in the pursuit of satisfying the Dragonblooded's desires receives a bonus equal to the Exalt's Presence + Relevant Specialty. Every time the target gets a threshold of at least 5 successes on a task, they regain a point of willpower which ignores normal limits. The limit for willpower points gained this way becomes [Target's Willpower Rating + Exalt's chosen Specialty].

However, this charm may not create desires where none exist, it can only enhance existing emotions.

Sometimes the Sidereal's patient holds on to something instead of accepting it, and she must ease their loss. This Charm allows the Sidereal to erase a memory of up to a scene in length from her patient's memory, undoing any Bonds or Principles formed during that scene. Targeting particularly traumatic memories may even help to heal Derangements (or their 3e equivalents).

I was going to write something very similar, where a lunar sets themselves up as the antagonistic beast that is so feared or hated that people build or destroy things irrationally. But then work got in the way.

Sidereal Thrown/Resistance: A super prayer strip Charm that requires two prayer strip Charms from different Abilities as prereqs, this one, building off of Storm's Eye Stance and Unrelenting Torment Technique.

The Sidereal activates this Charm with a prayer strip which has the Scripture of the Woeful Maiden written upon it. She rips it into five strips, stating a name each time she does; each tear flashes like a yellow lightning bolt. Then the Exalt ties these strips together, binding the fates of these five people into an inexorable knot of woe. Each victim gains an inviolate sorcerous intimacy toward another that will disrupt their life and cause heartbreak and strife, along with a destiny to bring these people into contact. The Storyteller is encouraged to mix up the intimacies so that the most drama and pain will occur by their own doings.

Trouble brews for the Sidereal's victims, and the Sidereal holds the knot of fate that ties them all together. While she holds the bundle of prayer strips, the victims are treated as bound by Storm's Eye Stance, and may be attacked as if with Unrelenting Torment Technique without requiring the Sidereal to activate either of those Charms.

Finally, the Sidereal may yank out one of the torn strips from her knot, climatically releasing that victim's woe; in the next scene, that victim suffers a botch relating to the sorcerous intimacy of the Exalt's choosing. At that point, the victim is released from the Charm, and the sorcerous intimacy becomes mundane.

                        Bonus scripture text!

The Scripture of the Woeful Maiden
                        Once, there was a maiden…
                        …who was full of sorrows.
She tried to run away, only to stumble into more trouble.
"Why do you cry?" the trouble asked.
"Running is all I know," said she.

Provided that their arguments are more successful than those of the authority figure, this charm influences those who would have fallen sway to the arguments to instead advocate for a violent purge of the authority figure and those associated with them. This small and conservatively-designed headdress exudes parental authority that anyone younger than it's wearer picks up on and responds to. After about a scene of interaction the coronet creates a link between the exalt and every valid target the Exalt has interacted with, creating a sorcerous pseudo-parental bond that can be used as an Arcane Link in place of any other, and allows the bearer to use any magic that would target their progeny on the target(s) of the bond.

If reinforced long enough (e.g. through intimacies or something), this bond might overthrow even the original, effectively becoming permanent and the "official" lineage that any parenthood-related magic regards as completely legitimate.

The Lawgiver's prose and brushstrokes flow with gripping elegance and readers find themselves swept along by them, turning page after page. When a Solar supplements a piece of writing with this Charm, she rolls (Linguistics + X). If her successes exceed A, the work instills a Minor Intimacy to read the end of the piece in anyone who reads even a bit of it (a sentence or two suffices). This Intimacy fades at the conclusion of the work.

If the Solar's successes exceed B, she may instead change the Intimacy's subject upon the complete reading of the piece, to all else in the set or series of which this work is a part. If her successes exceed C, she may change the Intimacy's subject to all works she has ever penned.

It is the parent's prerogative to choose what their child shall learn and what values will be impressed on them. This charm allows a dragonblood to more easily teach skills to or instill values in their descendants (henceforth referred to as targets). The dragonblood may pay up to one fourth of the XP cost of any ability in which they are training their target from their own experience, may choose to either double or half the number of scenes needed to establish or erode an intimacy (though with willpower expenditure the target may resist this) provided that they are in the presence of the target at the time, and may spend their own XP to raise or lower the virtues of a willing target (lowering a virtue from a certain level has the same cost as raising it to that level).
