    Forum Game - What Does This Charm Do?

    I have The Boredom, and it feels like it's been a while since someone introduced a forum game, so here we go.

    Things begin when I drop in a fictional Charm name at the end of my post. The next poster then describes its general effect, splat of origin, and Ability/Attribute/whatever tie, and then ends with one or more (let's say no more than three) new fictional Charm names for the next poster to define. If there are multiple Charm names, the new poster doesn't need to feel obligated to define all of them.

    Minor ground rules for how loose this is meant to be:
    - A name doesn't need to be defined as a Charm: the new poster could say it's a Sorcery spell, Evocation, Rank, Knack, innate ability on a behemoth or other creature, whatever.
    - Given the above, "Splat of origin" and "Ability/Attribute/whatever" may not neatly apply, but eh, just give some idea about what uses it and how.
    - Non-canon splats and the like -- whether written up, conceptualized, or made up for the sake of the answer -- are A-OK! Just try to give some vague notion of what they are. Ditto utterly speculative concepts.
    - Mechanics and balance (for any or no edition) are fine if you wanna, but a general and cool effect for the name is the important thing.
    - If you're moved to develop details in an answer in addition to those three, go nuts with sharing them!
    - NEW (12/21/14) : If a full week has passed without any response to the current name(s), a new poster may respond to any unused prior name. Try to aim for something recent, though no biggie.

    closed fist counter-argument technique: ​dragon blooded manipulation, fire aspect. allows for a dragon blood to add intimidation dice to total dice pool for social rolls for 1 scene

    Requirements: Essence 4, Craft (stonemason or carpenter 5)
    Cost: 4s 1wp
    Type: reflexive
    Prerequisite charms: a craftsman needs no tools.
    Effect: this charm enhances the prerequisite, - allowing the solar to instantly finish a major structure project. As long as he doesn't interrupt his work after paying the initial cost, he can build a structure at the speed of his movement, assembling any pieces of it he can reach, even using it reflexively to stunt in combat (such as building a wall behind himself during a disengage attempt, or building a ramp to charge at a much larger enemy. )

    Mountain as Molehill Methodology: Lunar Manipulation, psyche effect that temporarily convinces an individual to downplay or ignore something they have witnessed in the scene that violates one of their principles.

    Steel Imprinting Method: Dragon-Blooded Resistance, Earth Aspect. The Terrestrial attunes herself to the composition of a metal or stone weapon that has struck her during the scene, increasing her soak against attacks from it for the rest of the scene. A Wood aspect activation functions on wooden weapons.

    Knowing Siren Atemi: Dragon-Blooded Stealth, Water Aspect, allows the Terrestrial to make a stealth attack from plain sight on a target, provided she has instilled a positive intimacy towards herself during the scene.

    Next: any or all of the following: Dance of the Black Jade Tiger, Bridge-Building Stride, Perfection of the Twelve Rings, The Sword that Slays Sankhara.

By making a slight tapping gesture before her, the Vizier can rush a number of range bands, up to her (Essence) instantly, so long as she possesses line of sight to her desire destination. For longer or more difficult travel, the Vizier must rely on more advanced magic.

    For a split second, the Steward unveils the awe-inspiring heart of Luna inherent in all of her Chosen; that single thread of protean terror to devour, survive and adapt, refining their form into a terrifying aspect of this vision. Faced with such an awful, naked truth, few have the heart, or the stomach, to oppose them. The Lunar makes a (Charisma+ Performance) Roll versus the opposing groups' Resolve, and all enemy groups must save versus their pertinent intimacies , lest they flee the scene. In battle, any opposing battle groups must immediately check versus routing, regardless of battle strength. This power is a dole-edged sword, however, as allied groups must also check versus this attack, although those who possess an intimacy towards the Lunar gain non-charm dice to their resist roll equal to the strength of their intimacy level.

The spirit may object, but the meat is what moves it around, and the Chernozem can bypass one to speak directly to the other.This charm treats any social roll appealing to a basic need or want of the body* as appealing to a Minor Principle, even if their would-be desires are currently sated: hunger can still appeal to a man coming fresh from a harvest feast, and a scribe fresh from a night's slumber can be convinced to take a nap. With a repurchase at Essence 3+, this charm explicitly works its magic across language barriers and upon living bodies currently or permanently devoid of their own will.

    The monstrous image created by the False Flag Frenzy form charm becomes more than a false seeming, it becomes a fully realized persona with exp equal to 80 percent of your own, minus the exp for dots and charms of the Masquerade Murder Style. The Persona lacks any Masquerade Murder Style charms instead having an equal number of charms from a different style as the Base character has in Masquerade Murder.     The charm requires the Exigent to spend a scene contemplating clouds or weather phenomenon.
    After the scene is done, the Exigent may attempt a Lore or Investigation roll they previously failed again, assuming the roll was made to overcome some puzzle or riddle.
    This charm can only be used once per puzzle or riddle, per story.

    With a touch of the needle or of the hand, the attacker rolls Manipulation + Socialize against the target's Resolve and, on a success, snares two of the target's intimacies, knotting them together as a weaver tying off strands. For good or ill, one intimacy cannot be thought of without the other.

    For Social Influence rolls where both intimacies align, use the higher of the two and add one level (up to Defining). In cases where they compete, simply add one and subtract the other. If it's ever unclear whether the knotted intimacy would apply positively or negatively, the choice goes to the wielder of Night Quill.

    For situations where either one of the knotted intimacies is called upon for any purpose (including Decision Points and Charms like Fists of Iron), successfully justifying both bolsters the chosen intimacy by one level for the purpose of that effect, otherwise the intimacy cannot be used.

On an appropriate Stunt, this bonus increases by one extra charm-success.

    Additionally, this bonus applies to the Initiative roll of misdirection-based Gambits such as Distract.

    In combat, Distract grants the receiver an additional free point of Initiative, 2 on an applicable stunt.

    The notes from a Solar's heart are not like the chaotic yelps of normal mortals. Every note ever sung is in perfect resonance with the the Solar's soul, compounding infinitely to propel the entire piece to majesty that softens evens the coldest heart of a Northern god or drive a forest hermit into furious battle. The Solar spends one mote each time when they sing, activating this charm. As long as the mote stays committed, the Solar gains two Charm dice on Performance rolls that involve singing in some way, which are cumulative with any motes committed from a previous performance. The Solar may only commit motes to this Charm equal to their Essence.

    This Decisive counter attack automatically knocks the target prone if used in response to an unexpected attack.
