    [Photoshop] Exaltification!

Back on the old forums, we had a long-running thread where people could post up requests for photoshops of pictures to make them into art for their games. That thread lasted a good long time, and its inheritor ran for nearly four straight years. Now that the forums are moving, it's time to start off with a new thread, full of new photoshop goodness! Post up your pics and what you would like done to them, and our little crew of photo manipulators will do our best to get to it in due time. Most of us are pretty busy, so don't expect fast turnaround, but we usually get around to it.

Suggestions: If you want a quality picture, you need to supply a quality base image. Don't submit pics with a ton of crazy stuff in the background or a lot of text covering the main image; that's basically impossible to work with. The higher the quality of the base image, the easier it will be to work with; make sure you're submitting the highest quality version of the image you can. (Google Image Search and Reverse Image Search are your friends here.) Don't ask us to colorize a black and white image; that's an entirely different skill set, and one that a lot of us don't have. We might be able to, if it's already shaded, but be prepared for us to say that we can't manage it. Be as specific as you can with what you want; if you just say "Exaltify this!" it's almost useless.

Samples: Here a few examples of my work from the old forums:

If some of the other artists would like to upload some examples of their photoshop work too, that would be nice. =)

Image Limit and Spoilers: Apparently the maximum number of images you can put in one post on the new forums is four. Keep it in mind to avoid frustration. On the old thread, we spoilered images to avoid breaking the forums, but images apparently resize on the new forums; also, I can't find a way to put in a spoiler block (the usual codes don't work). If a moderator thinks we need to spoiler images for functionality, please let us know (and tell us how with this new interface!).

Otherwise, welcome to the new thread, and have fun!

This would make a neat Abyssal, sure, but what I'm hoping for is Infernal. Specifically, a Defiler who favors Green Sun Nimbus Flare. I always kinda wanted to play a shaman or spiritualist from the Bordermarches who was clever, resourceful, smart without being overly frail or erudite, had a demon-wolf buddy.... and this just hit all of it. Regardless of whether it's easier to make the flames green and keep the sky blue, or make the sky green and keep the flames red, both would be neat. Bonus points for luminata-or-demon-wolf-based Anima token.

On point, I can't wait to use them on a game. Thanks man!

I'm thinking a Twlight caste mark and some anima flare, but not too intense, rather faint. Also, if you could make her left fist shine with golden flames or something like that, I think it would look really cool.

A night caste mark, plus I don't know if you could make the spear look more... solar-like? I don't think black metal fits. Also, make both eyes the same color as her right one, the orange one.

    Thank you lots in advance!

That looks great, and sorry for missing that. That's what I get for reading the first page when lacking in sleep. Sorry about that, and thank you very much for it. You're awesome, seriously, you are.

Generally, I wouldn't work with a picture this small because of the low resolution. As noted in the first post, the better the resolution for your picture, the more likely it is that folks can work with it. However! I am a huge fan of Dishonored, and I see that Anton Sokolov is your avatar. Therefore, I deduce that you intend for this picture to be an avatar picture, so resolution is a lot less important. Additionally, just adding a caste mark and not doing anything else is pretty easy at most resolutions.

Because of these factors, I'm making an exception to my own rule. =3

Wasn't sure where else to post this, but in case anyone is using Disney Princesses for their characters, here are some with some badass weapons.

It's the least I can do! And don't tempt me, 'cause I have a couple more characters I'd like done some day. Just trying not to overload you.

Not that I am complaining; rather, you have spoiled me with fantastic character pics to last for many many characters to come! I really should get you a present. Hm...Marilyn Monroe in a birthday cake is pretty impossible to do, but....
Mostly because you didn't ask for them. I only tend to do the auras if they've been asked for, or if I think a picture would look especially good by adding one. But here are some revisions with animas!

Four variants of Aeris: three different caste marks, and one with darker hair.
