    I could either go with
-Cathak Karistaja, a naive and honorable-to-a-fault fire aspect that's in way over her head (but could serve as a general in a pinch),
-Ragara Besi, another fire-aspect, this one an incredibly terse heretical martial artist trained by a sidereal (and possibly an Adorjan's daughter), or
-Carmela Contarini, a ridiculously enthusiastic mercenary from a Threshold house (pales in comparison to a Great House, but impressive for the Threshold) who sees the Realm's troubles as her ticket to the big time. The notion is that with an impending civil war, the Houses are eager to take in whatever skilled agents they can get, even a mercenary. She might become a true believer in the Way of Aisa/Roseblack early on, though. You might have guessed it: a fire aspect.
    Welcome!

Any of those would be fine. The conspiracy could use some more war minded members. It is a Realm Civil war game.

I am beyond pleased the majority of the PCs are Dragonblooded. Here are my suggestions for the game.

    The Scarlet Sky conspiracy support Mnemon Aisa for the Throne. Now, in the current political climate, no one is going to support her. Thus the conspiracy's early goals should be this;

    1. Each member should become indispensable to one heir. Publicly support the heir. Get into their inner circle.
    2. Play each heir off of each other. If one heir gains the upper hand, the conspiracy can knock them back down.
    3. Keep the heir's safe. Foil assasination attempts. We need everyone alive the time is right to destroy them politically.
    4. Gain control of the heir's information network. Prune it of agents or make the agents ours.
    5. Slowly gain support for Mnemon Aisa. Present her as a Dragonblooded of good breeding and character.
    6. Feel free to add your own ideas. This list is just a way to get the ideas flowing.

What I need from you before you can start playing the game:
    1. Character Sheet
    2. Character Survey.
    3. Location Location Location. I need this sooner than later to figure out what area your character will be playing in. Be sure to read about your location in the books as well.

If you're looking for opinions, I sort of like Cathak Karistaja - several of the PC proposals seem a little light on Great House connections, and yeah, another person with ties to the legions wouldn't be a bad thing. Carmela Contarini also sounds interesting. Threshold minor DB houses always fascinate me.

So guan and I were talking and another concept came up. I have an old water aspect, a theif (not so much a spy). A tepet who got bored of the whole rehab school and escaped... thus passing... i also would be horribly amused if every one of her letters is just stick figure drawings of her being awesome and solving things since she's absolutely AWFUL at the whole word on paper thing....

So Earth Monk girl, or water aspect thief girl. (Slip was amazing... so very amazing... and so full of herself) There is only one minor flaw in her being part of it.... she wants to steal the throne.... quite literally.... maybe with a new empress on it.

I vote for thieving Water Aspects.

Well, if you do bring in Slip, Kell, I definitely need to include Carmela. (Also helps that it's way more plausible for her to be down with the Secret Eclipse Caste than it would be for Karistaja.)

              As such!
              Character Sheet: https://www.dropbox.com/s/28vbs81ay3...iniv2.pdf?dl=0

              Name: Carmela Contarini
Character Concept: Enthusiastic Threshold mercenary, scion of a major merchant house
              Location: Pahua Basin, Blessed Isle
              Splat: Dragon-Blooded
              Aspect/Caste: Fire-Aspect
              House/Faction/other organizational membership: House Contarini
Motivation: Attain glory, honor and riches eternal!
              Backstory:
The Contarini are a Dragon-Blooded House such as the Threshold understands it. The entire terrestrial population could be eliminated by a particularly dedicated assassin (compare trying to do that to the Cathak; it would be laughable), but the family is a major trade power in the Riverlands.

Carmela is their youngest daughter and was to be their rising star, but she quickly discovered she had neither the head nor the inclination for the meticulous, long-term, number-crunching business of trade. She found instead that she could bring in a whole lot of money just by standing around and occasionally lighting things on fire, or punching someone in the face while lighting herself on fire.

It was a much more exciting calling.

Of course, the Contarini Patriarch (and Carmela herself) has much higher ambitions than trade along the Yellow River. Possibly even... imperial ambitions.

Backgrounds: Artifact 1&1, Breeding 3, Connections (Contarini) 2, Resources 4, Familiar 1 (Barkon, Bloodhound)

Important NPCs: Nemias Contarini (Father, exiled Realm Iselsi, totally not an All-Seeing Eye agent), Francesco Contarini (Great-Grandfather, Contarini Patriarch), river traders, mercenary bands

              Strongest Attribute: Appearance
              Weakest Attribute: Perception
              Strongest Skills: Melee, Presence, Socialize
              Other Details:

Announcer voice: "We secretly replaced the Scarlet Throne with a Stuffed Rocking Dragon. Let's see if anyone notices."

That's more an IC concern than an OOC one. Rest of it looks good
You may have a bit of an IC argument about this one. Ryo is of the opinion that if some in the Conspiracy needs to be "taken care of" that the conspiracy takes care of it themselves. Either by sending one of our own or hiring someone to do it. He does not want the Official Wyld Hunt brought in at all. He's had nightmares about being hunted down by the Wyld Hunt.

If Aisa makes a big deal about it, he will add a condition limiting the instances the Wyld Hunt can be called.

When things get more settled a legend inside the map would be cool. Also remember the Wyld hunt master in the North is a known Paranoid and Zealot. People with immaculate ties might want to remember that. If Aisa is open to having Cheraki not being treated like a second class City anymore I'm fine with her being our candidate. I'm still gonna scout Roseblack though.

Yeah. I was going to do a legend on the map itself, but my photoshop skills suck.

Nexus isn't Realm Territory. Unless you find a way for your character to assist the conspiracy from Nexus, you will have to start her somewhere else. I'm just afraid you will run out of things to do in Nexus.

I put together a list of potential locations.

                              Blessed Isle Locations

The Palace Sublime, Scion, Incas Prefecture, The Jade Coast – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 91
The largest temple of the Immaculate Order, the Palace Sublime seems quite indefensible, made up as it is of a pair of immensely tall towers and a squat, square keep. Nonetheless, it is home to no less than the Mouth of Peace and four of the five Immaculate Paragons. It is the heart of the Immaculate Order, and none has ever dared attack it.

The Cloister of Wisdom – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 91
Less than a day’s travel from the Palace Sublime lies the Cloister of Wisdom, one of the four offi cially recognized secondary academies. The Cloister is sponsored by the Immaculate Order, those goal is to teach students who attend the Cloister how to be proper Dragon-Blooded in the eyes of the Immaculate Dragons

House of Bells, Arjuf Dominion, The Dragon’s Nest Range – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 120
The House of Bells is one of the four prestigious secondary schools of the Blessed Isle. A military academy meant to turn out not simply soldiers, but competent military leaders and heroes of the Dragon-Blooded Dynasty, the House of Bells is the first step for those who seek a great future in the legions.

The Heptagram, The Isle of Voices – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 115
The Heptagram is one of the four Great Academies of the Scarlet Empire. At any given time, there are no more than 70 regular students here, plus upward of 10 advanced students, directly apprenticed to one of the masters of the Heptagram.

The Immaculate Temple of Ivory Resplendence, Mount Meru – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 100
Literally the highest manse in all of Creation

Pangu, Pangu Prefecture, Coast of Xianyu – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 104
Pangu Prefecture is considered a rural backwater by most in the Blessed Isle, known only for its meat-preservation techniques, its feeding of the Imperial Army and its stories of long-ago piracy and heroic pirate-fighting. More politically minded folk recognize Time Rain’s clever deals with the legions and wonder what he will do once someone else sits the Scarlet Throne

Noble, Incas Prefecture, The Jade Coast – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 106
Half military fortifi cation, half marketplace, the city of Noble was originally built to repel Southern invaders in the early days of the Scarlet Empire. Once the locals determined that they could easily sell the goods they grew by coming here, a marketplace quickly grew up in Noble, and the city swelled in size. Eventually, it became the favored site for Dragon-Blooded forays into the southeastern jungles of Harborhead

Scion, Incas Prefecture, The Jade Coast – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 106
Sion started as a small town of weavers and farmers. As time passed, however, the quality of its weavers and cloth-makers grew dramatically, and Sion silk became the standard by which all ther fine cloth was measured among the Great Houses. In time, the ample and inexpensive cloth drew clothing designers and master tailors, and today, Sion is known as the place that produces the finest clothing in all the Blessed Isle.

Sdioa, Sdoia Prefecture, The Jade Coast – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 107
The House of Sweet Whispers is the manse that serves as the Fleet Command for the Wood Fleet), most of Sdoia is particularly nautical in nature. The majority of it consists of brothels, taverns and small street fish markets. The Wood Fleet is indisputably the power in this city. Many establishments cater exclusively or almost exclusively to the men of the Wood Fleet’s 1,555 ships. With the recent upswing in the Wood Fleet’s fortunes, the town has grown as well.

Chanos, Chanos Prefecture, The White Coast & Pauha Basin – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 109
Chanos is known as the Gateway to the North. Many troops are moved from Chanos to the Northern satrapies and beyond.

Tabuhareth, Chanos Prefecture, The White Coast & Pauha Basin – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 109
The mining town of Tabuhareth is a commodity hotly contested by the Great Houses.

The Pillar Hall of the Righteous, Chanos Prefecture, The White Coast & Pauha Basin – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 109
The Pillar Hall is one of the six remaining chapter houses of the Wyld Hunt.

Juche, Juche Prefecture, The Imperial River Basin – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 111
Perhaps the third most populous city in all of the Blessed Isle, Juche is a bustling center of commerce, art and bureaucracy. Rather than forcing bureaucrats in the Imperial City
to rely on messages from the mine overseers and emissaries to the Mountain Folk, the Scarlet Empress established an extensive ministry in this city: the Imperial Ministry of Jade Management and Mountain Folk Relations. Now a huge and bustling bureaucracy in its own right, the ministry works closely with the Gemstone clan of patricians and other local figures of importance.

The Foremost Vault of the Imperial Treasury, Juche Prefecture, The Imperial River Basin – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 112
Located just outside Juche proper, the Foremost Vault of the Imperial Treasury is a gargantuan building, with incredible defenses built into the manse. Additionally, a contingent of imperial legionnaires and a crack unit of Mountain Folk guardians serve as its defenders as well. All of the jade mined in Juche goes here.

The Kleinen Har Dig, Juche Prefecture, The Imperial River Basin – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 112
The site known as Kleinen Har (Old Realm for “Vault of Glass”) is perhaps one of the best known continuing archaeological digs in Juche.

Pasiap’s Stair, The Dragonswrath Plains – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 114
The only real Dragon-Blooded presence in the Dragonswrath Plains are the outcastes of Pasiap’s Stair, the military academy that prepares non-Dynastic Dragon-Blooded who arise from the population of the Blessed Isle (or occasionally in a satrapy in the Threshold) for service in the legions.

Lord’s Crossing, Lord’s Crossing Dominion, The Dragon’s Nest Range – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 115
Lord’s Crossing is a massive Shogunate Era city and the primary residence of House Tepet. A center of trade thanks to the exportation of the great riches of the dominion, the economy of Lord’s Crossing Dominion has been cast into some chaos with the destruction of the Tepet Legions at the hands of the Bull of the North.

Arjuf, Arjuf Dominion, The Dragon’s Nest Range – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 119
Arjuf is the second largest city in the Blessed Isle, with a massive population. Arjuf is the most important port on the Blessed Isle, and it boasts an incredibly huge bazaar, the Arjuf Market. ships docking in the city have their portage fees halved if they sell goods in the market, so it has an incredible variety of things for sale. It outshines even the markets of the Imperial City for the sheer variety of products, although the finest and most expensive items are usually reserved for the capital of the Scarlet Empire.

Tuchara, Arjuf Dominion, The Dragon’s Nest Range – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 120
Tuchara began as an artist’s colony, situated at a crossroads between iron ore mines and silver mines. As a result, many of the best smiths in Arjuf Dominion ended up here.

Yarrowstalk, Arjuf Dominion, The Dragon’s Nest Range – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 120
The river-port town of Yarrowstalk has fallen on bad times. Once a major stop on the river route between Lord’s Crossing and Arjuf, trade and travel in general has lessened with the tensions of late. More than this, though, Yarrowstalk is the headquarters for the Office of Harmony, the bureaucracy of the Wyld Hunt.

The Azimuth Spire, Arjuf Dominion, The Dragon’s Nest Range – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 122
The Azimuth Spire, though a powerful manse owned by House Ledaal, was rendered to the Immaculate Order and Wyld Hunt as an act of piety on the part of the House. Since that time, it has become the primary headquarters for the Wyld Hunt.

Eagle’s Launch, Eagle Prefecture, The Storm Coast and the Ahbrem Valley – CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 122
Eagle’s Launch is a major port city along the western shore, and it boasts a deeply impressive market, with all manner of goods from the sea and the traders of the West.

Port Wavehold, Tongama Island– CoCD: The Blessed Isle pg 125
Port Wavehold is somewhat of a ramshackle city, as its large size is a very new phenomenon. When the Imperial Navy moved the port of call for the Water Fleet away from Eagle’s Launch, it chose the then-smaller Port Wavehold for the honor of hosting it.

                              The South
                              An-Teng – CoTD: The South pg 112
Harborhead – CoTD: The South pg 81
The Lap – CoTD: The South pg 49

                              The West
