Was so very glad to see Donnie back! Outstanding! Did anyone really expect him to choose one of the three? I mean, it's pure Donnie to level a burn so very divine!

That was my precise response, as a matter of fact!

Obviously arranging Associated Purviews for the Gods is far more art than science, and no one is every going to make a list that fits everyone's interpretation, and its the simplest possible matter to adjust at one's own table - but how does Artemis not have Wild?

At the very least, her Roman Mantle Diana will have it at my table.

Echoing the sentiment. That opening fiction was absolutely tops. I cackled like a maniacal child.

Well Scion: Origins did it. I backed the Kickstarter only at the Origin level as I was hesitant to go all in. After looking through it today, I'll be adding Scion: Hero to my Backerkit. I'm already thinking about alternate time periods to run Scion in.

Well done Onyx Path, you have earned more of my money.

I wonder though, if he had of picked one of them, would he have been from then on the adopted child of Hera or Athena? Of course if he chose his mother he would have simply been one of her Scion's but still.

Also, while I found this story to be outstanding. I couldn't help but think of Aphrodite as some sort of Kawaii depiction. For the Goddess of Love... this seems....lacking. I feel as though she should have been more commanding, more at home within her own sensuality and sexuality. When it comes to beauty, she should be leaving Hera and Athena in the dust. She IS desire, lust and seduction. Not some sort of helpless damsel in need of a rescue.

                    Less this...

It's extremely unlikely that that was Aphrodite herself... In all likelihood all three were Incarnations, not the over self that's unlikely to walk the World, and we do know that Incarnations can deviate from the over self. Also, whether he could be adopted by Hera or Athena will depend on what his Origin Calling is... If it were Lover, Hera could presumably adopt him, if it were Guardian, Athena could certainly adopt him... If it's Creator, then they're both shit out of luck.

Donnie's Origin calling is most definetly Lover going by how he described his life

She is definitely the best Aphrodite portrayal ever.

In myth Aphrodite has a magic belt that makes her melt-brains level beautiful. I assume in the trial of Paris she had to go without it - which left her “normal” goddess level super-human beautiful.
