  • Release Date?

So, does anyone actually know when Scion 2e will be making an appearance? Feels like it's been one hell of a long time waiting, I'm almost beginning to lose interest

Onyx Path doesn't do release dates, and haven't since we were founded. Instead you can see the current production status of all our projects on the weekly-posted Monday Meeting Notes blog.

So, apparently Scion: Origin and Scion: Hero are in the proofing stage? Yay!

Does anyone remember which Pantheons are in them? I've forgotten.

Since they ended the errata while ago, they finished the indexing, and look like it’s going to release soon, probably before Aberrant KS starts...
        It’s just a guess!

          1. Theoi (Greek)
          2. Netjer (Egyptian)
          3. Aesir (Norse)
          4. Orisha (Yoruba)
          5. Tuatha de Danaan (Irish)
          6. Kami (Japanese)
          7. Shen (Chinese)
          8. Devas (Hindu)
          9. Manitou (Algonquin)
          10. Teotl (Mexica)

With regard to the release date? It's probably soon. How soon? Hard to say, but unless there's been a last minute change of plans, they're pretty close to the "send the print file to the printer" stage.

On top of which, in the Companion we’re getting

            1. Loa (Vodu, overlapping with the Orisha obviously)
            2. Nemetondevos (Gaulish, a dead Pantheon that can be reborn)
            3. Yazatas (Zoroastrian Persian)
            4. Teros (Atlantean - a completely writer made-up Pantheon that will serve as an example for building your own, largely a Jack Kirby homage)

Are we backers going to receive a preview of Companion?

I mean we’ll get the pdf when it’s ready for errata.

                  Neat. Thanks.

Though I've still not learned anything new on the situation, I'd like to thank you for the response.

"When will it be out?" - When it's ready.

"When will that be?" - OPP doesn't like giving dates until they're certain, which is usually about a week before. Right now the books are going through Indexing and Proofing, which is pretty near the end point.

However if you're just ITCHING for your sweet sweet Scion content you can go here and pre-order your copies, and if your preorder includes the PDFs you can get access to advanced backer rough drafts.

You probably already read this on the homepage, but Scion Origin and Hero are going to press this week, so soon we will have the PDFs available.

The meeting notes said it was going to the presses, when in the week does it usually go on sale at drive thru.

Won't be this week; they would have mentioned that.

OPP releases typically go up on DriveThru on Wednesdays.

I don't know why they are slow rolling this, it was supposed to come out in May 2017. If the book is done they should release it. After all we are talking about a PDF from drive thru, they don't have to ship anything the files are delivered almost instantly.
