  • Change Favored Approach

Why would you spend 15 XP to change your favored approach? What does this gain you? I can't find the purpose in the book. Does this relocate your 2 bonus points to a different approach?

I would say that it let's you move the bonus dots from your old favored approach's Attributes to your new ones. So that's moving six dots worth of Attributes for 15 XP.

Now I don't disagree that most players won't use this. This would probably be reserved for someone realizing that they've been playing their character completely at odds with how they were constructed. But if that situation comes up, changing all at once is faster than using between-session Tweeks to change your Attribute spread

Disclaimer: I'll huff, grump, and defend my position, but if you're having fun I'll never say you're doing it wrong.
