Deaths & Survivors of Ragnarok

Generally I know that Magni, Modi, Baldur, Hod, Vali, Ve, and Vidar along with the children of the Sun and Moon.

Thor, Odin, Heimdal, Loki, and Frey along with the Sun and Moon die.

Who in each group am I missing? I tried looking it up, but sources seem to conflict on the matter.

I thought all gods died at Ragnarök. It's literally the end of the world and the rebirth of humans.

No. There is a group of survivors.

I doubt you'll ever get a consistent answer, but AFAIK Thrud, Njord and Hoenir survive along with the ones you mentioned, and Tyr dies. Other than that, I don't think any more survivors or deaths are mentioned anywhere, although I'm not an expert.

The fate of the various Goddesses is also left unspoken, so any or all could have survived for purposes of future stories.

Forgot about Tyr.

And yeah the goddesses had me wondering.

The reason I ask is because I debating whether I should include a pre or post Ragnarok pantheon in a game I am running.
