I'm not a fan of the Week of Nightmares TBH, but I love the Fall of Constantinople story arc, very well done IMO.

I also wasn't a fan of the Week of Nightmares, if only for how forced the crossover felt and how little some of the splats had to do with it...and how much others (Mages) had to.
The handling of Baba Yaga was likewise clumsy. I enjoyed her intro well enough (in Rage Across Russia) but her end was extremely anticlimactic imo.

End of Empires was probably my favorite written event book.

You summed up my opinion on the Week of Nightmares pretty well.

The Fall of Constantinople was covered in the Dark Ages Clan Novels, but when it comes to an actual "event book" I have a hard time pin pointing one. I, for the most part, generally tend to avoid the big game hooks in my game. I prefer more books like Ghouls Fatal Addiction, that are smaller scaled.

This is kind of heretical in some circles, but the 2012/2013 Convention books made me really love the Avatar Storm.

            Why is that?

I thought they gave it weight and consequence, rather than it being a big gob of metaplot noise. It suddenly became a piece of setting material I could really sink my teeth into. It also made the Technocracy more conflicted, and put them in a deeply precarious position, which is great for drama; the Technocracy are more interesting when they're on the run, at least to me.
