I run in more than one LARP circle and I'm just hearing about it for the first time today, so you're definitely not the only one left out.

Rectification: it's nothing like I'm feeling left out personally. I just think it would have been better to know about it earlier and through different channels too. The way it is, it's just quite limited how many and which people heard about it, which is not ideal, considering the seeming importance of it.

If nothing worked, then let's think!

Agreed, and I am also wondering why Onyx do not yet seem to promote it anywhere.

Just announced: Justin Achilli to attend, sign books, and dj on Saturday night! it gets better and better! And I live here, so no heavy luggage to cart around all the time
And this is a yugely important event for WoD - VtM5 will be unveiled and playtested here, possibly even on sale, along with news about the overall future of the games and setting.

Don't forget to share what you could about V5, after the event, please!

              Otherwise, have a good time!

Playtested at the con... and for sale in hardcopy? That'd be rather odd.

Maybe they're just selling first drafts? It is an odd move, all the same.

The playtests are announced as part of the event, and that is announced on the site. The sale of VtM5 may be done on pre-order at the con, as far as I have heard, but there is no official announcement for that. Yet...

As of the recent up date, not only will Darker Days Radio be there running the podcast live, we will also be running a talk on using CofD and WoD together to create your own remixes of settings.

Hey man. I'm from Brazil and didn't have the money to attend, if you participated in the playtest or even bought the book, could you tell me how the new edition is? I was curious about changes in the metaplot

More that there wasn't really a need for BD. Ham-handed edginess tends to lose more than it gains. Which leads to my reaction to this...

                                Authors keep 50% of revenue
That can't possibly be a very big return. We're talking trpg books, not a successful novel series. And BD might end up shrinking it as adults only titles clog up shelves.
