What sorts of jobs, careers etc do you invision Changelings having ?

Caretaker of a cemetery (see the film Cemetery Man (2004)). Manga artist. Farm veterinarian. Fashion designer. "Cool Hunter" (see William Gibson's novel Pattern Recognition). Bike messenger. Park ranger. Martial arts instructor. Chef. Professional escort. Musician. Youtube celebrity. Computer programer. Cowgirl. Gunsmith. Midwife. Professional gambler. Private tutor. Bodyguard. Cat burglar. Club DJ. Bounty hunter.

What is tolerance? It is the consequence of humanity. We are all formed of frailty and error; let us pardon reciprocally each other's folly. That is the first law of nature.
    Voltaire, "Tolerance" (1764)

A local dreamer/kinain has offered a job at a bookstore. He pays the troll who works there to do menial tasks, but expects the changeling to rush off on an adventure at a moment's notice without a word. Sometimes offering words of wisdom and quests to help the troll keep banality at bay.

Hmm, some of those look pretty banal to me...!

However any of them that can be prefixed with the word 'Freelance' work okay.

            e.g.

Manga Artist can be a soul crushingly awful job where you're stuck in an office 16 hours a day grinding out comics by hand (ref: https://www.quora.com/What-is-life-l...a-manga-artist)
On the other hand Freelance Manga Artist sounds like the sort of job where you can do what you want when you want.

                Eh, depends on the changeling.

Thankful that C20 makes Antithesis a thing.

Employees / Managers of a theme park. Seriously, how do look at those and not see a gigantic Freehold opportunity?

You have no idea the ridiculous amount of time I've spent pondering on if the Disneyland Parks are Glamorous or Banal.

Have you seen the contractual obligations their employees must follow? If that's not holding a Glamour infused gun to Banality's head, then I don't know what is!

im unemployed myself, live on SSI I sell some D&D books on ebay

and do Genital integrity activism on facebook and go out wearing T shirts I know could be seen as incendiary, but I'm ready to be accosted, social change always has its price in tears all too often in blood

Used to write fanfiction and sometimes want to return to it, but MS makes that difficult

sorry, though this was a life similar to many Commoner Kithain.

I've got annual passes to Chessington World of Adventures for the kids - in my stories I would say that most adventure/theme parks are quite banal as a lot of thought goes into designing them to be machines designed to part customer from money. If that's not a banal activity I don't know what is. Might be a perspective thing though, I'm sure kids would view such a place as utterly fantabulous.

Kids, definitely. But I think it'd vary a lot of adults.

I'm a complete unashamed Disney fanboy and the feeling I get when walking into one of the parks, especially Magic Kingdom, EPCOT or Animal Kingdom? Yeah, that's Galmour
