  • Who framed Roger Rabbit, Great Changeling inspiration?

    was just rewatching the movie

Eddie Valiant seems a perfect inspiration for a Autumn persons tale of redemption.

Judge doom, not sure if he's more Dauntain or Thallain.

Doom is definitely Dauntain, especially the old "banal kithain" version.

Eddie is a heavily Ravaged Dreamer who learns to Dream again.

fair enough its such a meaningful moment when he pours out his bottle of liquor making a clean break.

Why dont you think he was an autumn person, they CAN be redeemed you know.

He is not an avatar of mundanity. He is capable of seeing an interacting with the Dreaming. He doesn't have a super 9-5 routine. He's a person on the fringes of society. Nothing about him sounds Autumn Folky to me. I am not sure a PI could be one vs a Full Cop. Plus his arc isn't about disbelief in the magic of Toons but rather the arc of someone who was HURT by them. He believes in them the whole time.

            Fair point

            also a worthwhile note?

Most of the toons, work better as chimera then changelings.

What if Eddie is the Changeling then? Or at least Kinain. Doom would be the only other potential Kithain/thallain/Denizen
