The guy on the left is an older Don Draper, the guy in the middle is a slightly older Roger Sterling, and the guy on the right is a way younger Bertram Cooper.

im telling you, it looks like tribute art to me, and who better to honour in terms of the syndicate world than the people who Brought America and 20th century society with it into the modern consumer-consensual reality of advertising and image.

The Revised Convention Books came out a year before M20 was announced, and I think the announcement was still where the “20th Anniversary” moniker was still appropriate (even though it wasn't by the time the book actually got published). So: 2012, I think?

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it's a nod to the show. I've only seen a couple episodes of Mad Men but I've heard good thing about it and can see it as a source of inspiration for both players and Storytellers when it comes to the Syndicate.
