  • Beckett's V20 book and Lhiannan/Pagans?

Just a quick question as I'm on the fence over buying it, but does the book cover anything related to the Lhiannan and/or pagans clans or bloodlines new or old? (Ahrimanes, Einhirjar , etc.). And I know I probably butchered the spelling of those lines so I apologize in advance

The Lhiannan and Telyavelic Tremere definitely get a mention.

"Covers" is a strong word. The information on Telyavelic Tremere can be summed up as "Sasha Vykos wants to find them". The information on Lhiannan is that they don't exist anymore. That's about it.

The Lhiannan aren't gone. Beckett goes to a party of obscure bloodlines and there's at least one present on page 518. While he is a bit skeptical, it's there.

So does the book read like a big story or is it like a gaming book with rules/characters interspersed?

It's basically an episodic metaplot fluff book, but in doing so it gives you a lot to work with gamewise. There is a tiny bit of crunch concerning thin bloods and dhampirs, but really the practical uses of the book for a player are the ways in which the new fluff opens up options. Without spoiling too much, there might be a Laibon parallel in South America, Blood Brothers have a bit done for them, and a few other minor lines and peculiar player options get explored a bit more thoroughly than I would've expected.
