It seems the Goivanni went the way of the Ravnos and possibly got reduce to a bloodline. As for why the Cappadocian aren't pouncing on the remains of the Goivanni, we don't know. Maybe the Goivanni are currently undersegie or maybe not. The clan of death was always rather odd. If we do get the proper Cappadocians back I'll be very happy. I always like the original clan of death more than the Goivanni (though they can be fun too).

Lasombra and Lasombra antitribu are also technically one Clan where factions are in kill-mode when meeting the others. Which makes me wonder? How will the antitribu react to the Lasombra trying to join the Camarilla?

I'm in agreement, especially with the Gentleman's Guide to Vampire 5 youtube videos episode 8 about the Sects detailing that the Banu Haqim are now Camarilla, and Ministry of Set are now Anarch. Lasombra will be in V5 Chicago, and I imagine that as predicted on page one of this forum thread that Tzimice will be in the Sabbat book. That leaves the much reduced in size Ravnos and Clan of Death (Giovanni) either each featuring alongside another clan in one of the four aforementioned books or perhaps having an as yet unannounced supplement to include both these two Clans under seige.

Like the smug kindred they are, after all killing each other is only natural... so no hard feelings? The question of clan internal diablerie is a much more interesting one imho.

The Lasombra have always been about "survival of the fittest" and "might makes right". So the current Lasombra Antitribu would probably laugh. A laugh that both said "welcome to the club" and "I don't owe rats fleeing a sinking ship anything".

Wasn't the wording that they and the Banu Haquim were destroyed outside of their homelands?
Implying they are still a big factor but only in their own regions

So the Banu Haqim have thrown in with the Camarilla, along with the Lasombra (though both will retain an antagonistic faction). Ministry of Set coming out as Anarch makes a kind of sense, given their weird gnostic bent. Ravnos, they probably want to figure out what the hell to do with them before they do anything with them. Giovanni, they were always a small clan; I'm not sure what reducing their scope even more does for us, but okay. I guess we'll find out.

No, I've not said anywhere that the Giovanni have been destroyed. That's not our intention.

I just got the sense that they're smaller in number now. It sounds like they share the title of Clan of Death with others now?

Right now that's a suitable epithet for all the necromantic lines in the game, but it's a little unwieldy for in-universe reference. There is something going on with all those clans and bloodlines though, and some members now collectively call themselves the Hecata.

I love it. I understand you can’t say too much but would it be possible to know what book this will be detailed in? Even just saying it will be in a book after Sabat book is enough. Thank you and I really appreciate the responses

That is something I can't confirm at this time, I'm afraid!

speaking of Giovanni, some time ago there was a rumor Augustus Giovanni was spirited away during a necromantic attack at Venice, is that confirmed?
