Who is in your opinion the greatest vampire of all time in the world of darkness and why? To define greatness we need to ask ''greatest in what aspect?" I would imagine everybody looks at greatness in a different way. Is greatness measured by achievements, knowledge, influence, personal power or something else? it's probably a combination of many aspects. So you can decide what criteria's matter to you.

Baba Yaga is so damn classy and adds a sense of romanticism and myth I can't help but love her!
Shoot me but I also love El Diablo Verde, I have a place for him even if some don't.
And Al-Ashrad is so damn sensible and competent, he was destined for great things and making him the childe of Ur-Shulgi chained him, he may have overshadowed him if he was a direct childe of Haquim.
It is a time for great deeds!

His stats is overpowerful for a 3000+ year-old 5th gens.

Originally posted by Tegyrius View PostI can't speak for subsequent expansion or retcon, but as intended when written for CotN, al-Ashrad was never an archmage. Do note that the character's background section is written very much in-character, and any use of "mage" in that context is by Children of Haqim who don't enjoy our multi-book perspective.- C.
But in the latter Assamite CB Revised his saying is quoted when talking about the magus, see page 63. Maybe authorities have different opinions.Last edited by Rock113; 08-22-2019, 11:47 PM.
