  • Oblivion and Predator Type

Most Predator types list which discipline they augment. Which Predator Type do you think Oblivion fits under best.

Since Oblivion is the only(?) discipline not included in the corebook, it's also the only one without any predator types referencing it.

There's a homebrew PT floating around called "Vulture", where you feed on the dead and dying and gain a dot of Fortitude or Oblivion. We may also get an Oblivion-centric PT in one of the upcoming books that features Oblivion (Cults and the Player's Guide).

The first two that come to mind are Alleycat and Osiris.

        Any of them.
Alleycat uses Oblivion to sneak up on people, intimidate them into submission, or see in the dark alleys without a flashlight.
Bagger uses Oblivion to see in the dark while breaking in, intimidate business partners, or trade medium services for blood.
Blood Leech I don't fucking know man, Blood Leech is stupid.
Cleaver uses Oblivion to sneak around the houses or accepts blood sacrifices for a seance with the beloved grandma.
Consensualist uses Oblivion to intimidate people into giving consent (what? Apparently "steal" and "lie" counts as valid methods for consent by V5 standards), or sneak into the blood clinic, or accept blood necessary for medium rituals.
Farmer uses Oblivion to sneak into pet stores.
Osiris uses Oblivion to impress the feebleminded mortals with spooky shadows or ghosts.
Sandman uses Oblivion to sneak better.
Scene Queen uses Oblivion to dominate the extensive shadow puppetry scene and have the adoration of all the children.
Siren uses Oblivion for the atmosphere of dangerous charm or to see better in the nightclubs.

If Oblivion had been included in the corebook, the most obvious Predator Types would have been Blood Leech and Sandman. Blood Leech because you are literally feeding on the dead. Sandman because sleeping people are figuratively dead, or at least in "repose". I suppose Bagger might be in the running, since the blood is cold.
