I'll assume your talking about thin blood alchemy. For dementation you would need malkavian blood or possibly vitae from someone with the corresponding disciplines. -

RAW, amalgam powers are just powers, so yes, you can copy Dementation by having blood of someone with in-clan Dominate.Comment
