I had a bit of fun making this and decided to spread the love a bit. Basically, this is a thread about putting various media vampires into the World of Darkness as bloodlines.
Any ideas for expanding on this and making them "canon" are welcome here.

Akasha
Nickname: Lestats (a fact which amuses him greatly)
Quote: "None of us really changes over time. We only become more fully what we are.”
The Akasha bloodline is currently in a great deal of hot water with the rest of the vampire race. There are Masquerade breaches and there are Masquerade breaches. In this case, the Akasha bloodline is infamous for the fact its most famous member not only published his biography after childer did but briefly became one of the world's most famous rock musicians.
In the World of Darkness where The Vampire Chronicles occurred, the events of the first three books are largely canon before Anne Rice was Dominated (or ghouled) into producing somewhat more misleading works. How much if any of the subsequent events are true is up to individual Storytellers to interpret but the Toreador as a whole are presently protecting her. The fact the books mention only Lestat and his circle of associate's secrets rather than that of vampiredom as a whole is also a point in their favor.
The Akasha are a bloodline of the Toreador clan and traditionally considered to be members. While the writings of Anne Rice state they were created through necromancy, it is more likely their founder was actually embraced by the Toreador Antedeluvian. It is only subsequent experimentation with the spirit world which resulted in them drifted from the mainstream clan.
There is very little to differentiate the Akashans from mainstream Toreador until recent months aside from the fact many of its members took up the Path of the Devil in the Middle Ages and only recently abandoned Satan worship as a viable activity. Its members include numerous ancients and individuals who have been pillars of Camarilla society. Well, were pillars, as those mentioned in the book would be laughingstocks if not for the fact they're terrifying in person.
It should be noted Lestat, himself, is a figure who is the only known figure to ever have been removed from the Camarilla Red List. After being declared anathema by the Camarilla following his flagrant disregard for the Masquerade and living as Autarkis for decades thereafter, he's since been removed due to the fact he's become the lineage head of the Akasha Bloodline. To kill Lestat is to kill all of the Akasha followers and not even the Camarilla's most fervent die-hards wish to do that.
It should be noted many neonate vampires are completely unaware the Akasha are actually a real-life bloodline of the Toreador and need to be told, "No, we're actually serious. The books are real." In that respect, Lestats actions have actually done an amazing job of protecting the Masquerade as no one takes the idea the characters from the books are real serious any more than Sherlock Holmes or Doctor Watson showing up would be. As far as anyone knows, Lestat is merely the product of Anne Rice's fictions as well as a licensed character used by a particularly talented 80s hair-band lead vocalist. Lestat, himself, often takes aliases when dealing with new vampires as he finds his newfound fame both amusing as well as tiresome.
Akashans tend to be Low Humanity but rarely slip into wassail now that they have abandoned the Path of the Devil. It is a bloodline with strong divides between the Ancients and those who have been more recently embraced. Somehow, they have discovered or passed down the secret of the Laibon "sharing" generation Thaumaturgy ritual and most modern members of the bloodline have extremely low generation (5th to 8th) with Fortitude as an Additional Discipline.
Lestat and some of the older ones are indeed so powerful with their Fortitude scores they can effectively move around during the day if they do not get hit by direct sunlight very often. How they maintain their self-control is another matter entirely and is arguably more impressive. Replacing the Path of the Devil is the Path of the Prince, Path of Heaven, Path of Night (classic version), Path of the Beast, and Path of Memnoch which informs the behaviors of specific ancients. Typically, their versions take the form of killing only the Evil Doer and having little care for mortals but immense love for the arts as well as unlife.
Many Akashans possess an older form of Blood Magic created by and inherited from the bloodline of the Methuselah Maharet. This allows them to purchase "Maharet's Kiss" (7pt)/Loresheet which allows them to buy Thaumaturgy as an in-clan discipline. These vampires possess Lure of the Flames, Movement of the Mind, Spirit Thaumaturgy, and other paths related to manipulation of the soul.
Lestat is extremely high on the Path of the Prince, believed to be a self-created path influence by the Road of Paradox and Road of Heaven which may be why he is able to move around the day so well.
Disciplines: Auspex, Potence, Presence
Weakness: The Akasha bloodline has both the Toreador weakness as well as their own collection of minor but annoying weaknesses. The Toreador weakness notably takes the form of focus on personal beauty. They gain a +1 to the difficulty of their rolls when becoming fascinated with Appearance scores above 4.
Akashans also notably suffer a change in appearance which renders them very identifiable as vampires. All Akashans have a albino-like pallor, predatory eyes, and visible blue veins which is associated with vampires of Low Humanity. Some have speculated this means the Akashans weren't originally Toreador but Cappadochians but most Kindred find the idea ridiculous as they seem to embody the Clan.
Finally, Akashans suffer from a link to the eldest vampire of their bloodline called the "Mark of the Heart's Blood." This is not an actual weakness-weakness but an expression of the late Akasha's Combination Discipline of Quietus 9/Presence 9. Any damage done to Akasha is inflicted upon all members of her bloodline as soakable or aggravated damage. This can be gotten around via death by diablerie but immediately passes to the next head of the lineage.
Any ideas for expanding on this and making them "canon" are welcome here.
