  • The Brotherhood of Ares. ( A Antagonist idea and how to improve it.)

I brainstormed this idea a while back and i want to hear your opinion on it.

Triton Arms Corporation is a mutinational corporation based in Anchorage, Alaska. They specialize in making military-grade and often compete with Nastrum Enterprises. Most Garou just regard them as a normal corporation unaware of the existence of the Wyrm and other members of the Triat and mostly ignore them. Triton however, has a sinister secret within it's corporate Headquarters. They are a front of a secret society called The Brotherhood of Ares, a secretive organization dedicated to engulfing the world in war.

The Brotherhood was founded by Steven Anagnos, a veteran of the Greek Civil War. Steven, who was the son of a British soldier and a Greek peasant woman, fought for the Hellenic Army and received many war injuries, which include a missing right eye and scars over 90 percent of his body. After the war, he moved to the U.S to pursue the American Dream. Shortly after arriving in America, Steven began having nightmares of a hellish battlefield which looked exactly like the battlefield where he lost his eye. The only thing in the dream besides him was a demonic monster which chased him across the battlefield while saying his name in Greek and English. The dream always ended with Steven being blown up by a piece of artillery. During this time Steven founded Triton Arms corporation and got a contract with the Government to make them explosives. After the corporation started, The Nightmare that haunted Steven grew worse as the battlefield in his dream was now inhabited by dead and dying soldiers who called for help and emitted blood-curdling screams as Steven ran past them.

One night, the demon inside the dream finally caught up to Steven after he tripped over the dead body. The creature, instead of killing him, started to talk to him. It told him that it had been following him after the Greek Civil War after a specific battle killed it's original summoner, a infernalist who was part of the Communist faction. The demon than offered to make a deal with him. He offered to help him run his business and give him success while Steven used his company to further plunge the war into warfare. Steven agreed and the demon entered Steven's body. What Steven didn't know what the time was that the demon was really a bane and he had just sold his soul to the Beast-of-War, a head of the Wyrm.

Shortly after being possessed, Steven decided to form a secretive brotherhood within his corporation to help fulfill his end of the bargain. As he built up his corporation, he also formed a secret society called The Brotherhood of Ares, a group of arms dealers and other people who saw a profit in increased warfare. Steven also found that the Bane sometimes whispered in his head, giving him advice on how to run the Brotherhood for his master, The Wyrm, and the Bane also gave him powers to brainwash anyone he stared at. Steven and his cohorts then spent the next 50 years secretly supplying various groups around the world with weaponry to increase the amount of violence in the world in hopes of causing World War 3.

Today, Triton is one of the biggest arms corporations in the world with offices around the world. The company is still ran by Stephen, who is pushing his mid-seventies. The Brotherhood's activities in these modern nights include illegally supplying weaponry to various other groups around the world, including Wyrm cults like The Cult of Despair and F.E.A.R. They also have lobbyists in D.C. schmoozing politicians into giving Triton contracts to supply weaponry to the military. All under the noises of the Garou.

Can i have some criticism and advice on this idea?

I do not think that there are any large multinationals based out of Alaska, there just are not enough people there to provide the diversity of services required for a large multinational. The top ten largest arms manufactures have more than 200,000 employees each. Now, you could have someone based out of a nice populous red state like Texas, which would give you more than enough people.

Yeah, Texas seems like a better option. Also, i think the Brotherhood is more of a group of arms dealers than a cult due to the fact that they don't actually worship the Wyrm. The ban and Steven kinda have a symbiotic relationship as you can tell from the history.
