Yeah since lupus an homids don't soak lethal or aggravated damage in breed form at all. The soak silver in breed form thing is applicable only for silver spoons ...

I just got annoyed and did a PDF comparsion.

Result: mostly typos, some C&P (like in the Performance description of the preview "A player must always choose a speciality in Crafts...")

    Gifts:
Form Mastery: The part with the intial success for tranformations is gone because this rule does not exist anymore.
    Catfeet: 100 feet aren't 91 meters anymore.
Wind Claws: Only works with "natural" attacks.
Curse of Aeolus: "The fog covers roughly one city block in area."

    Fetishes:
Klaive and Grand Klaive: Silver damage not "unsoakable". (Breed Form, Lunas Armor and so on...)
Jarlhammer: Difficulty 7 and STR +6 Damage.

    Backgrounds:
Fate is can be raised by XP.

    Splitting Dice Pools as said.

    Form Modifiers:
    Crinos is MAN -3
    Hispo is MAN -3
    Lupus is MAN -3

    Merits and Flaws:
Calm Heart: Rage rolls are at +2 diff.

    Any other differences ?
Like fixing the melee weapon chart, other fetish weapons, or gifts like razor claw ?

Interesting. So the diff. 5 one IS the final version. That's the big thing I was hoping to find out. Which was which. Thanks. Those other details are nice also, though I run Calm Heart differently since I feel that the Werewolf version is a poor fit for the game; unlike vampire, you DO want some successes. I made it instead where it takes more successes to frenzy or go Thrall.

Hm yeah, Troll Skin is difficulty 7 in the preview release, 5 in the final. Actual functional changes like that are usually pretty rare though, as far as I've seen.

I've been told of a few Gifts and Rites with variant rules, most notably Troll Skin, diff. 7 in one version, diff. 5 in another.

The backer version is definitely floating around the pirate scene though, and that one difference is big enough to notice and call out more than most errata changes. That alone could be the source of the confusion.

Ah...yep forgot about that. I think that must be it.

Only one version as far as I'm aware in terms of content. Obviously the kickstarter version is physically different to the PoD version but the contents are exactly the same.
