He was something of a mentor to forumites like me who hopped on to the Whitewolf Boat right before time of judgement. He had a good critical eye, and his sensibilities are often echoed my homebrews to this day. Its funny a lot of people argued with him and felt he was a curmudgeon but to others he was a super helpful guy that could point out errors while also help people with advice on which books they should read for which interests. I miss the fella! :PComment
