  • The Story Told Podcast - W20 Interview with Matthew Dawkins!

Good morning friends! I am Logan from The Story Told podcast (http://thestorytold.libsyn.com, also on iTunes and Spotify!) and we are beginning the preliminary planning for an interview about the W20 development process with Matthew Dawkins. This episode will be part of a three to four episode arc featuring Wraith 20th anniversary exclusively! These episodes will include the aforementioned interview as well as an overview of the game, example of character creation, and an actual play episode featuring these characters run by our character artist Noah Hirka ( https://www.instagram.com/ichor.teeth/ and https://ichorteeth.artstation.com/ ). Here at The Story Told we really value you, the players and Storytellers of the games we love to play. To honor that we are reaching out to you here at the Onyx Path forums. Please reach out to us with with questions you have about W20 either here, Twitter (@StoryToldPod) or via email (thestorytoldpodcast@gmail.com)! Thank you and happy listening!

...and I guess I'll ask what has been banded around here:

What was the thinking behind making the rating 5 Arcanoi powers so different from their 1e-2e counterparts? Especially with the perception that Wr20 nerfed them unnecessarily?

There are some interesting changes in Wr20 that seem very deliberate and I'd love to hear the thoughts behind them. For instance, what was the thinking that went into the changes to Drones and Stygian Steel?

What do you think the Wraith metaplot and setting should be going forward with Wr20/Wr5? Ends of Empire definitively ended Wraith and while it did have an opening for future stories they tore down setting as we knew it. Stygia's gone. Charon and the Deathlords are gone. Everything we knew is gone. While Orpheus did continue the setting, their vision of the Underworld is not perhaps suited for Wraith games.

Why hasn't the Hierarchy done anything about the concentration camps set up by the Giovanni?
Will there be a Wraith 5th edition?
