Never heard of the one they had for my state. Plenty of potential plot hooks, though.

South Carolina's Boo Hags can also be found here in coastal Georgia. Supposedly Calhoun Square here in Savannah is infested with them as a result of the square being named after a major slavery apologist while also being built on top of a mass slave grave, which understandably pissed off the restless ghosts of the slaves and lead to the land there "turning sour" as the Gullah put it.
