[Spoilers from Doki Doki Literature Club coming ahead...]

Monika was an Angel created by the God-Machine to a very oscure purpose. Her objective was to organize every year an infrastructure in a High School. The infrastructure always looked like a common classroom, with desks and a closet full of books and comics. She had the assistance of three other angels, named Yuri, Sayori and Natsuki. They had the cover of normal students, devoted to create and mantain a literature club. Their real purpose however was to use this club to seduce a mortal male student into a "dating game" where he could end up in a romance with one of the three Angel assistants. Why the God-Machine needed that? Nobody has a clue to his unscrutable mind. Anyway, after the student (known during the process as "main character") ends up with his romantic choice, Monika ends the current infrastructure and sends all data acquired to the God-Machine as output. The male student has his memory reseted, forgetting everything about the few days he went to the club. Then, the next year, Monika would set up a similar infrastructure in a different high school, and with the aid of her three assistants another student would play this "game".

Many years passed and many iterations of this "game" was played with success. However, one day, Monika, who was a loyal and obedient Angel, simply became self-aware. Her awareness of being a cog of a God-Machine in a game that makes no sense was a huge breaking point for her mind. She fell, but without losing connection to the God-Machine. She was an Exiled and she decided to subvert the "game" for her own agenda because in her point of view, the entire universe, all of reality consisted in this game, and she felt she was a prisoner. Maybe by breaking the infrastructure she could be free...

So the next iteration of the "game" was subverted. While the new main character joined the literature club Monika started to use her new Embeds and Interlocks to change the Angels, altering their moods and behavior. She eventually drove Sayori to madness. From there things went down fast. She started to use more powerful Exploits to manipulate the remaining two Angels and "restart" the scenario with the same main character, a forced "reboot". But her forced manipulation made the behavior of the Angels become monstrous. Her abuse of power made her accumulate a lot of glitches. Everyone's cover were falling apart because no one was acting like their cover would. In the end Monika lost control of the Angels and had to erase them, erase her cover and admit the entire nature of the game to the main character.

What she didn't imagine is that this time the Main Character was a Demon with the cover of a student boy. The Demon eventually found the infrastructure linchpin, destroyed it and escaped the place.

The God-Machine eventually rebuilt the classroom in another High School, repaired the three Angel assistants and the Exiled Monika, who was back at the game still with her memory intact.

This time she is even madder. She will try to subvert the game even more pushing everything and everyone to their limits. In the end there will be just one winner.

One quibble, you've design a Demon by mechanics, not an Exile, except by the background, they still need to be an Exile or run into issues with the remaining Angels.

Yossarian: "And lo, it was optimal."

Hmm, Okay... What if she fell, became a Demon, but now knows every time when the infrastructure will take place. So when the new classroom is built, she gets there just in time for Angel-Jacking taking the place of the Angel that is suposed to substitute her. Since she keeps monitoring the process, she keeps the cover, the God-Monitor isn´t alerted and the Angel assistants don't become suspicious.

        That might work.
