    Tactic's against PC's?

Was wondering a crossover game is it safe to have NPC hunter's use tactics a lot of supernaturals have way's around them.

Gaseous form is one notable example.

    Am I just being silly?

It is the most likely state of a random cell, so it is very reasonable.

Yes, the H:tV rulebook maeks it clear that tactics aren't magic and that they can be negated by supernatural powers, or simply circumstances.

I believe it explicitly says that tactics can fail if they wouldn't logically work, so go ahead and autofail them. Especially if they are done by NPCs and not PCs.

is it reasonable to say that and some other things make Tactics fail by evading the situation?

Would it be reasonable to say Revenants are a more common foe for newby hunter's

as in , a hunter with no formal training is more likely to survive encountering a revenant.

If a PC can turn to mist, by golly, let him make good use of it
