  • How difficult is it to Sic hunters on alchemists?

Was just thinking any ways you can see to sic hunters on Alchemists when Prometheans have to put up with Torment Disquiet etc, a way to get Hunters after Alchemists?

Well, Alchemists are still human (maybe?), so unless the Promethean is using Disquetism Distillations to Scapegoat them, the Alchemist can just say "but X is a monster" and according to the (preview of) The Code, the Hunters pretty much have to take their side in the conflict.

Malkydel: "And the Machine dictated; let there be adequate illumination."
Yossarian: "And lo, it was optimal."

So disquietism maybe a bit of Mesmerism?

Pretty much. There's really no special way to sic hunters on them then it it is to sic hunters on stuff in general. Anyway you can imagine it then it be good. Paint the Alchemists as Slashers, uses supernatural powers to influence the hunters, create an intricate plan of circumstances that has the hunters attack the Alchemists on their own. What ever way you can think it.

There normally not tho, there main beef is normally just with Prommies. To have it seem like that way requires some leg work on the Createds part.

Look at an alchemist like Ra's al Ghul. He uses the Lazarus Pits to become immortal. On its own, that's no crime. But he's also the leader of a conspiracy of assassins and terrorists and criminal organizations across the world.

Alternatively the idea of power corrupts is easy to play up. An Alchemist who uses their powers for the kind of things that draw hunters attentions is pretty easy to think up. These aren't givens, obviously, and a lot of factors come into play, who the alchemist is, who the hunters are, which promethean is doing it (there's powers that would make the whole thing pretty easy).
