  • 268) Every few nights Lucy attempts to kill herself. She succeeds. The first time she chained herself to a park bench and waited for the dawn. She woke up in an alley nearby after nightfall. The next time she picked a fight with a lupine in the city’s park. She woke up in the suburbs in an old lady’s backyard. Time and time again, through multiple ways of suicide that led to what should be a Kindred’s final death, she succeeds and awakens the next night at sundown.

    • 269) When out feeding you pick up that another club goer is Kindred, undeterred you continue without bothering them. They meet up with you as you're leaving and you realise it's the Prince.
      270) Someone has dealt with that hunter cell, that's a relief because they were doing some damage. What happens when they start up again as Ghouls?

      • 271) For some reason the Prince has putting an unusual amount of effort into driving an Italian bistro in the nightclub district out of business. As far as anyone can tell, the bistro and it's owners are completely mundane with no trace of kindred or other supernatural connections, and the prince doesn't seem to have any political or financial reason to sink it, he just seems to hate the place for some reason.

Which is why he has sent to your coterie to intercept a famous food critic who is set to review the place and make sure he gives them 0 stars and a poo emoji... but why?

        • 272) The herd has picked up on a tag used by a group of kindred that are trying to fix up their territory (they may have benevolent aims or just be trading easy feeding for income) and have started using it as a protest symbol. By the time kindred work out who's behind this false flag operation it's started to spread throughout the city.

          273) An alliances of Meket and Nosferatu have laid claim to some choice territory, anyone who enters unbidden falls to an unseen attacker. The Prince is not happy.

          • 274) A Kindred, Duke Karsh, and his coterie, have come to the city. He proclaims himself Warlord of the Invictus, a title of the elders of the city’s Inner Circle have never heard. He is here on a recruitment drive. Blood and funds will be provided to any Kindred who enlists in his army and survives his rather grueling training regimen.
Once they are ready, Karsh will lead them to a city on the other side of the country to conquer it in the name of the Invictus. Titles, territory, and herds will be given to the victors. He also invites the Dragons and the Lance to the fight, and many neonates are taking him up on the offer.

            • 275) Peacemaker
A Kindred with a third eye in her forehead has come to the city. She presents herself at Elysium and makes a passionate speech for Kindred to cease their fighting and scheming against each other and focus on attaining peace both amongst each other and with their Beasts. There might be something to this as even the most cold hearted monsters of the Kindred report their Beast barely stirs in her presence.
The next Elysium she comes with a Kindred in tow who is well known to be a wily Draugr. Apparently with her help the Man has reemerged and now he begs the Prince absolution for his crimes and a place in the city.

              • 276). one of the local Ancilla, who is high up in whichever covenant the ST needs him to be, has a problem, you see, one of his latest projects required him to work with some FBI agents of varying levels of corruption. The problem is that the ancilla was wanted by the FBI back in the 60s and 70s, for what he won't say, before his embrace and by sheer bad luck, one of the agents he was working on the project with was an agent that had been assigned the hunt for him back in the 70s.

The agent recognized him right away, even though the ancilla didn't remember him at first, and now the ancilla needs the PCs to take care of the problem before the agent figures out how the wanted fugitive has managed to stay young looking for so long and becomes a threat to the masquerade.

Of course, having some federally verified blackmail info on a high level covenant official could be useful too...

                • 277) The Prince has decreed the outcome of a Covenant leadership contest. The Covenant is angry about this outside interference and insists on deciding for themselves but the court is ignoring their objections. Did the prince have a plan or was this just stirring things up for the sake of it.
                  278) Reverents are on the rise (yes I'm aware of the pun) and the Maskarade is weakening under the strain. Heavy restrictions are being placed upon feeding in order to stem this endemic until the source can be found.
                  279) The group is required to attend a meeting with non kindred supernaturals, they aren't told why.

                  • 280: Vampires…IN SPACE!
The Prince of Orlando has called a blood hunt. The only problem is that the target has stowed away on a rocket launched out of Cape Canaveral last week. Of course there’s a night launch going on next month that might be able to hold a little extra weight from one or two Kindred.

                    • 281:

Robert Mercer, the money mastermind behind Beirtbart, is a member of a Strix worshiping cult, which should have been obvious to the kindred given his obsession with owls. So in other words, the Strix control the guy who controls the guy who controls president Trump. This won't be good.

                      • I admit I didn't read all 281 plot hooks, so it's possible that this has been done before. Still!

                        282) Your Covenant has finally decided to knock over a neighboring domain and assist the Kindred there loyal to your Covenant in taking power. It...didn't work. A high ranking refugee from your Covenant in that city has escaped to your city, but she's being kept hostage by the rival Covenant's presence in your city. She has very important information that will assist your Covenant, as well as being a high ranking member herself. But trying to rescue her might overthrow the peace in your city. Your Elder has tasked you with rescuing her discreetly. How will you manage this?

                        • 283) Talks of open revolution are being flung around nearly every faction except for the Carthians. For reasons unknown, every vampire over the age of 150 has had their powers effectively switched off. The vitae continues to animate their dead bodies each night, but beyond that, they are just as powerless as an ordinary human. The only vampires who have retained their powers are neonates and early ancillae, who are over joyed by the fact they don't have to be afraid of centuries old elders threatening to have them staked and baked for stepping out of line!

As we said, nobody knows exactly how this happened, but a mixed coterie of Carthian and Circle members was reportedly missing just a few weeks before this predicament occurred!

                          • 284) Your Covenant is in an uproar - somehow, mere humans have appropriated their secrets and turned their own powers against them. How are kine able to access the secret abilities of Kindred?
                            Some examples:
                            • Lancea Et Sanctum: The local churches have become far more dangerous ground - their members and ministers have been witnessed to turn the dark miracles of Theban Sorcery upon those Faithful who wander near or try to carry out their sacred purpose as God's Scourge.
                            • Invictus: The halls of power are increasingly closed off - a different conspiracy is securing key individuals with potent Oaths of their own, undermining the First Estate's influence and ability to maintain the Masquerade.
                            • Carthians: Entire neighborhoods have been declared Barrens as community centers meet and protect their areas with the recognizable weight of Carthian Law.

Malkydel: "And the Machine dictated; let there be adequate illumination."
Yossarian: "And lo, it was optimal."

                            • 285) Festival of Blades
The Crone has disappeared. Well not all of the them. The lowest level members are still around, all of them confused about where all the power players of the covenant have gone. The harpies have sent the rumor mill spinning, of course, but no one really knows. That is until a lupine comes to the city telling any supernatural that will listen that her pack was destroyed by a coterie of vampires who can turn into creatures of metal and bone. She reports that they're out in the wilderness, killing each other, and becoming more and more monstrous with each of their covenant mates that they kill.

                              • 286) Succession
Nomad rumors tell of a city where they do things...differently. When a Prince is killed or enters torpor the city's elder's convene an Elysium where any vampire, from elder to neonate, can take a mystical test to judge their fitness to lead of city of Kindred. The test is called the Black Spiral. A mystical journey where the Kindred suffers unspeakable ordeals and parleys with deranged spirits. Most who walk the Spiral and return are left broken, insane husks. But eventually one of the Kindred returns sound of mind and body and is welcomed as the next Prince.
