Alternatively, it becomes a way for Uratha to finally meet Luna personally. That would be game changing

It's speculated that just being in the presence of the Goddess of Lunacy would drive you permanently and incurably insane.

You still can meet Luna on Earth - she 'just' will come as Royal Avatar of her in Shadow Realm...

I have to imagine the numerical limits would be more of a stopping point. Particularly religious-seeming werewolves would probably not care. Just like particularly fervent Pure might see it as an opportunity.

Remember, no Werewolf has ever directly communicated with Luna before, you can bet assloads of them would take the risk to talk to mommy

Of course you might have werewolves, Ivory Claws and even Forsaken, sabotaging such attempts, using their influence or just being a politician and screwing over the budget for such things.

Either way some nice plot hooks.

It would make sense. Some sort of religious and incredibly territorial lodge. Using manipulating gifts to ensure funding, Technology and Crafting Gifts to help with the engineering, even Weather Gifts to ensure clear skies on launch dates. A lodge because it has branches in other nations.

Lodge of Astrologers? Lodge of Stars? Mainly run by Iron Masters with breath of Storm Lords, wanting to literally 'storm the heavens' ( and watch them when needing )? Maybe in previous centuries they tried to make biggest Moon Bridges - but with humans technology and landing on the moon in 1960s, they come to use space agencies? They are one of main Moon-Banished hunters groups in Tribes of Moon.

Sacred Hunt: Sensing any being outside of Earth?

Aspiration: Work to reach the Moon

                    Blessing: ???

Ban: To never forget about the Stars? Do not disrespect Planets Spirits?

Tools: Lodge Armory as space fetishes and Lodge sorcery Influences from Space, Stars and ???

Because inquiring minds want to know, how would such a group avoid notice by the MIBs?

                        They would probably be MIBs.

As for Sacred Hunt I'd probably go for invaders and obstacles, entities trying to restrict travel outward.

Another ban might be sleeping under the stars, which would be tough but not impossible. Forgetting about them would be rather hard to do, especially if you were part of NASA.

This is why we need Werewolf supplement on space. Not a Shard for futuristic Forsaken travelling the stars, but a modern day book on spirits from beyond Earth and how they interact with the terrestrial supernatural.

                          CofD booklists:
                          Beast I Changeling | Geist l Hunter l Mage | Mummy | Promethean | Vampire

Plus it gives a lot more room for high end werewolves who don't want to limit themselves to Earth anymore.

They would be mainly Iron Masters Lodge ( at least in modern times ), so 'wolves in sheep clothing' and all like those. In reality, from Mage persepctive. Iron Masters are like mix of Guardians of Veil mixed with Free Council.

How would you represent those in Sacred Hunt benefits? 'Anything of terresertial origin or with Influance: Space'? Moon-Banished would be obvious Prey, what else?

Maybe more like 'watching stars, each night'? NASA workers do not seem to sleep in nights.
