Which Book Has The Scenario Idea of Luna Being Destroyed? (1st edition)

Hi all,
I remember reading in one of the 1st edition books about a scenario idea where the moon is destroyed, which causes the Gauntlet to fall and leads to almost a post-apocalyptic future where spirits are running rampant and humanity is forced to band together. But I can't remember which book it was in. Anyone else remembers coming across it during their reading?

You may be thinking of Tribes of the Moon. In the Lodge of the Final Winter write-up, there's a sidebar (that takes up two pages) that details such a possibility.
