As a loose guideline your RCC could translate to Origon Path and OCC to Role Path

I'm just trying to figure out how to do a dragon hatchling. I'd probably steal some stuff from denizen paths in Scion, but after that, I'm out of ideas.

I wpuld love for a Trinity variant wjere a vast and ancient continent reappeared in the Atlantic. It would be quite fun.

That and the idea from RIFTS Undersea about a vast submersible aircraft carrier. Lots of fun woth that.

Honestly, as a point of source material RIFTS has a lot of setting potential. Mechanically I could see the classes being modified varian quantum, psi, Inspired and Talent groups.

Also the tech related to war in Rifts is so advanced you can put regular people in big mechas with no template added, or with so many cybernetics, that they can face Q3 or 4 novas and maybe even win.

The proper answer to “Hello There” is, obviously, “General Kenobi”.

That is one of the things I love about Trinity / Storypath, how easy it is to adapt.

True. You can do a lot with little to no changes.

While it’s different form WW IP systems, it is still close enough to get many ideas of how to handle some stuff.

So true, the hardest component to port is anything with extreme granularity like mage magic and blood sorcery, but I'm chipping away at it.

RIFTS just struck me as a confusing mess where you could play anything you wanted as long as it involved giant robots and/or power armor suits with realistic breasts.

For my "extra-dimensional invasion" needs, I prefer TORG.

Honestly, both Rifts and Torg are too convoluted to jump in. Both, in the other hand, have a number of possible settings inside themselves that allow you play any kind of character you may want, almost literally.

Thats probably the reason I never try to learn any of them (in addition to the also convoluted rules of Rifts).

Its possible to create a Post-Apokaliptical setting similar to both, with Flux, Noetic and Quantum ripping reality in bizarre ways, similar to Adventure, but on Aberrant scale. Atlantis (and/or other mythic realms) rising from the sea thru a flux rift, massive amounts of people gaining psionic and quantum powers, Supertech all around since you have millions of Inspired people.

                        that would be crazy...

                          Re: Rifts

I have a great fondness for the Rifts Setting. Palladium Games (mostly Rifts and TMNT) were the systems that got me into gaming. That being said, even back then I noticed quite a few ..balance issues...with the system. Converting the setting to other systems is something that comes up occasionally at my game table. This topic inspired me to start brainstorming some conversion ideas. Here is what I have thus far - I will post my ideas as they develop

                          TC: Rifts

My main resources for Rifts information for these conversions are the Rifts: Ultimate Edition, and Savage Worlds:Rifts (Game Master's Handbook and Tomorrow Legion Player's Guide)

                          Tiers

                          Tier 1: Mundane
Tier 2: Augmented (Borgs, Cyber-Knight, Crazy, Juicer), D-Bee, MARS (Mercenaries, Adventurers, Rogues, Scholars), Mutant (Dog-Boy, Psi-Stalker), Psionics (Burster, Mind Melter), Practitioner of Magic (Line Walker, Mystic, Shifter, Techno-Wizard)
                          Tier 3: Dragon Hatchling

                          Paths

Origins Path: Adventurer, City Rat (Street Rat), Citizen (surburbia), Frontiersman (Survivalist), Grunt (Military Brat), Privileged, Vagabond

Role Path: Body Fixer (Medic), Charismatic Leader, Operator (Tech Expert), Robot Pilot (Pilot), Rogue (Sneak), Scholar (Detective), Scout (Sneak), Solider (Combat Specialist), Warrior (Combat Specialist)

Society Path: Coalition States, Colorado Baronies, Federation of Magic, Free Quebec, Lazlo, Northern Gun, Pecos Empire, Tolkeen Refugee, Tomorrow Legion

                          Power Armor & Robot Armor
See VARGs (Æon Æxpansion, pg. 45-59)

                          Scale
Storypath Rifts uses Extreme Scale and the standardized scale qualifiers of Durability, Leadership, Might, Mental, Power, Size, and Speed. (TC: Aberrant, pg. XX)

                          Size
Storypath Rifts uses rules for Negative Size. (TC: Aberrant, pg. XX)

                          Collateral Damage
Storypath Rifts uses the Collateral Damage rules (TC: Aberrant, pg. XX) to represent the destructive capabilities of high yield (Mega-Damage) weapons, magic, and psionics.

                          Templates
Borg (Full Cyborg), Crazy, Cyber-Knight, D-Bee, Dog-Boy, Glitter Boy Pilot, Headhunter (Partial Cyborg), Juicer, MARS, Practitioner of Magic (Elementalist, Line Walker, Mystic, Shifter, Techno-Wizard), Psychic (Burster, Mind Melter), Psi-Stalker

                                * Close Combat (Brawl, Melee Weapons)
