Psions and Scale
Psions are capable of some limited scale increase in their deeds, as long they can already do things beyond human capacities.
Several powers, particularly the powers dealing with speed and some times size, already grant access to a certain degree of scale, and those powers are not affected by this set of rules.
The 6-dot Powers and Stacking Scale
Any scale gained thru the methods described bellow can stack with the gain of scale granted by the 6 dots powers. This is also the only way to grant scale higher than described below in Attributes, Durability and Power using psionic powers. Not even multiple powers combined can increase scale above the value listed, except for the use of the 6-dot powers.
Attributes
While it’s possible to increase attributes beyond 5 dots thru several powers, its not properly a gain of scale, and so, it’s not possible to match the gain of scale of an Aberrant, for example. To counter it, a Psion can spend part of the additional successes to gain proper scale above a regular human, on a very limited way.
The powers Perfection (Psychomorphing 5), Enhancement (Electromanipulation 3), Stoicism (Augendis 2), Direction (Augendis 3) and Precision (Augendis 4) can no longer increase one attribute above 5 dots, but can be used to grant scale 2 to that attribute, at cost of 8 successes.
Overcharge (Vitakinesis 7) grants Scale 2 on the attributes of the chosen approach, and can increase any attribute to a maximum of 5 dots, including the ones that had scale increased.
Durability
Psions have some powers that can be used to resist damage, and those are the ones that need most scale to resist the attacks of Aberrants.
Kinetic Shield (Perikinesis 1) and Energy Shield (Perikinesis 2) gain the following advantage according to the Mode dots instead of mode dots as Soft Armor, that can be further increased by the 6dot power of the mode:
• Durability Scale 1 and Soft 1
•• Durability Scale 1 and Soft 2
••• Durability Scale 1 and Soft 3
•••• Durability Scale 2 and Soft 1
••••• Durability Scale 2 and Soft 2

Chimera (Transmogrify 4), Sheath (Thermokinesis 3) and Reinforce (Augendis 1) armors can’t have more than Soft 3 tag, instead they gain access to the following tags that can be added once.
Armor Tag
Durability Scale 2 (3): The power grants scale 2 against any kind of damage it is effective.
Durability Scale 3 (6): The power grants scale 3 against any kind of damage it is effective.
Power
Psions have multiple powers that can be used to cause damage, and those are the ones that need most scale to go thru Aberrants’ armors.
Photonic Power (Photokinesis 3), Flash (Thermokinesis 2), Velocity (Telekinesis 2) gain the following advantage according to the Mode dots instead of mode dots as Enhancement, that can be further increased by the 6dot power of the mode:
