  • [Aberrant] Eufiber

I have some doubts on eufiber:

It has the tags soft armor1 and innocuous.
But, does it have composite or complete?
Or it only protects from one source of damage?
(I know that you can select tags equal to the eufiber rank).

Also, can it's soft or hard armor stack over conventional armor? Or with thoughness or quantum field?

Personally, I'd give it Complete (3), but don't allow Soft Armor ratings to stack (unless they explicitly state they do), but those are personal choices, I have no idea what the official position is. Either way, Hard Armor inevitably does 'stack' because it's just extra Conditions available, and Durability Scale also inevitably applies when you get attacked.

      It has the Complete Tag.

      Soft Armor stacks.

Do you have a reference for that second part? I'm interested.

The only thing the core book says about soft armor is it increases the cost of the Inflict Injury stunt. It doesn't mention stacking or not stacking. There's an anomaly power (Hardened Skin) which explicitly does not stack with worn armor. There is also a gift (Armor of Fate) which explicitly does stack with worn armor.

I read it as soft armor does stack, but there isn't any real guidance in the core book.

And, any reference of the complete tag?
