So, this is basically just a quick question; when it comes to the Network power, I'm unclear as to how its range works. I'm guessing you use the standard Psi-based range for where people have to be to activate it, but does that remain the range for where it can remain? E.g. if I have a Medium range and people in my Network go out to 100 meters, does their link break? Do we have to have a 'chain' of 30 meters leading out, or is it solely centered around the original telepath?

Unless otherwise stated, Telepathic powers that the psion can target using noetic connections (p. 204) can only target individuals within Psi astronomical units (AU) of the telepath.

That only applies if the group is using the Network to combine their powers. Which is powerful, but has the drawback of requiring everyone to keep paying additional psi points any time anyone in the Network uses psi.

When using a Networks for the usual reasons of communication and sharing senses and impressions the range is in AUs.

Another question on that note, then; seeing as I'm building a Psiad character with Modes in both Clairsentience and Telepathy, is it possible for a Psiad to form a sort of... network of aid within themselves, to gain the effects of combining Aptitudes, or does that strictly require two or more individuals?

No. Psiads can combine their powers, but can’t boost themselves the way psions can. They can’t even boost the group the same way psions do. A psiad just add 1Psi to the total (and never above 5) when boosting the group.

Actually, Tier 3 Psiads (Psi 6) can add +2, although Psiads only grant/gain the +1 or +2 bonus if they share a Primary Aptitude with the other participant (Æon Æxpansion page 88). This isn't a problem for two Psiads with Psi 3+, since they'll both automatically possess Quantakinesis as a Primary Aptitude even if they have yet to add dots to any of the modes.
