  • Daughters of Miridium

In the sourcebook The Player's Guide to Wizards, Bards & Sorcerers, page 19, under "Lost Traditions" there is a reference to the "Daughters of Miridum." The short description refers to a "dead goddess of magic." I cant find any other reference to this Miridium in any of my Scarred Lands books. Is this the only mention? Author's leeway perhaps? Given the importance of Mesos and his death, this sticks out like a sore thumb to me. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

She's talked about in a short story in Champions of the Scarred Lands (series of novellas). I believe she's also mentioned in the Divine and the Defeated as Hedrada's daughter.

Thank you! That’s exactly what I needed!

That's what I'm here for... after those bad words gods and titans... well, nevermind that. If I keep talking, Jack will get uppity.

Daughter of Hedrada, Miridum was demigoddess of lore and arcane magic, who would have filled the void left by Mesos, but was killed by Hrinruuk the Hunter during the war. As such, the sphere of arcane magic is unregulated by any deity.
