So far the book is pretty awesome. I love the art!

It's a little weird that the first index is basically a table of contents. Can that get moved to the beginning, please? Then it would be way more useful!

I'm also pretty disappointed to see a reprint of all the monsters that were released in the 5e Scarred Lands Player Guide. The updated art is really nice, but the stats are basically the same. That's a lot of the book dedicated to reprinting what many of us already have. And potentially taking sales away from the SLPG for people who want for the monster stats. I would have liked more new monsters instead. I'm guessing it's too late to change that?

Several of the monsters that have appeared previously had tweaks and corrections applied to bring them more in line with 5e design. We also wanted to ensure that all the monsters could be easily accessed in a single volume, and, of course, have the beautiful treatment Handiwork Games provided for the art and layout.

Are the Unhallowed supposed to replace the Expulsed from the Wise and the Wicked 5e? (Who were, themselves, an updated of the Unhallowed from 3e.)

Also, just curious: why was the Momus only given 2 lair actions to pick from? General design is that Lair Actions come in 3s. Same for the Mithril Golem's legendary actions. He can take 3, but only has 1 choice. I've never seen a legendary monster with less than 3 actions (and usually 1 or 2 of them cost more than 1 Legendary Action to do).

Just got my printed version. It's quite nice! Good quality from the printer, no bleed, no miscuts. Good binding. Looks fantastic.

Sorry for the delayed response. Creature Collection represents the most current incarnation of each creature's stats. Having said that that, there is no reason not to use the Expulsed stats if you prefer, or if you want to apply the template to a standard NPC (or a PC who messes up very very badly)
