  • Steel Devil was a last-minute addition and it's generally recognized as being Not Good, with the primary value of the entire style being the permanent +2 parry from Dual-Slaying Stance. That being said: someone with Parry 5 and an onslaught negator is not at all the intended use case of the style; that's specifically choosing the case where it's least likely to be effective, so it's not surprising that it's ineffective there!     It seems worth noting for the "Eating Mental Anguish" that while the limit effect is obviously restricted to people with a Limit track, the Intimacy effect works on anyone around, which means you can trigger it just by sticking Minors on random people you meet (which I take as intentional, since it's meant to make you more raksha-like). So you can instill, but you don't even need to go that far -- if anyone threatens anyone else, that will usually create a negative emotional Intimacy, as in many cases will doing something unpleasant in a large group. I'm using this one in a game right...

    OK, here's something that I somehow overlooked for several years: I'm kitting out a snake-shape Lunar and working out the poison details, and I had been taking the poison table's "Snake Venom" as a baseline, but I just noticed that this is not actually the poison specified in the "Venomous Snake" statblock. The latter has one less point of penalty. Should I be using that, or the Snake Venom traits for actual snake bites? Not just for the Lunar but for, you know, regular snakes and so forth.

    Also, just to confirm: in statblocks, the lack of a damage form presumably...
