    replied to Lunar Castebooks Project
    Hello again, forum. Just a little necromancy from me to note that the second post of this thread now contains every link to the works and chapters in the fan project Castebook: Changing Moon. Instead of updating with a link for each post, I'll just mention that the Full Moon fan project is being posted five days a week currently (at least when life doesn't get in the way) with the same work/chapter structure. I hope you enjoy both! Plans include No Moon and Casteless to come as well!...

    I was introduced to Exalted with the 2e Core. Shortly after I found Wonders of the Lost Age in a Half Price Books. I have a strong Final Fantasy background - so it was spiritual machines and magitek galore from my Twilight in my first game!

    ... which was my only in-person game as a player. After that, I dove in head first. Since then, it's been storytelling for me!

    Ping!

    In order to get Divination to fit on a page, I had to do some... major surgery.

    In particular;
    * I cut the opening entirely, moving it to the paragraph in Jiara.
    * I changed Constellation's Registrar to Hel, so as to reuse one of the new Sidereal signature characters used in the chapter spread.
    * I changed the ending, letting the Lunar get away.

    (There's also several other less major changes, mostly around flow or to name drop the Charms Hel is using)

    The revised version is here:

  • [Exalted Writing Exchange] Divination, a chapter fiction for Where Fate Has Led

    "The first line, undivided, suggests the idea of grass pulled up, and bringing with it other stalks with whose roots it is connected. Advance (on the part of its subject) will be fortunate."

    The constellations of Mars shone brightly in the heavenly sky. The Maiden of Battles led the Games of Divinity, so no other celestial bodies impeded their lights. The mind of Mars, the designs of the Loom to which she was so woven, were open to any who might use their eyes to see and their intellect to consult the star charts and divination tables. A lone Sidereal lay upon a star-gazing...
