  • I tried the rules out. I also ran the scenario. I found the rules to be interesting. I did not necessarily hate them, however, I do not find the 3 attributes to be to my liking. They stated that it makes your choice of specialty more important, however, I found (or rather have always found) that my players have always chosen their specialties with that in mind without needing to have the attributes stripped down to a generic physical, social, mental.   • I have to agree here. I was recently trying to work on a Beast Chronicle (well, prepare anyways) set in present day Arkham. It's rather difficult to do, for me anyways, because of my love for anything Lovecraft (I have the entire collection of works, letters, etc. all leatherbound in my bookshelf and copies to read...I'm that guy). I scrapped it because I could not achieve the level of horror that is the mythos. Not with Beast anyways. I have seen some adaptations meant for Mortal games in Arkham, but again, I just have a hard time setting the Chronicles of Darkness in Arkham, Dunwich, Innsmouth,...

  • My daughter had a giant sleepover at my house and I ran this for 6 11-12-year-olds. They absolutely loved it. My daughter is an avid tabletop gamer already (5e, Pugmire, CoC (She love Lovecraft)) so I expected her to love it. Her friends, however, have not played any tabletop RPGs and the response was great. They not only got into their characters immensely (even talking about each other's characters the following morning over breakfast), but they also learned the rules quickly and efficiently and understood the concepts right away.

  • Considering this is by far my favorite game line in OP collection, I am seriously overjoyed about this! From the rumors of it possibly happening to seeing it moved into development...YES!
