    ​My guess would be as a standard Close Combat check, using Cunning or Manipulation in place of a physical stat. If you get a success over their defense and use it to inflict injury, that means the feint worked and you tricked them into opening their guard so you could strike. If you get more successes and impose a Complication (or was it Difficulty? I'm not clear on the difference) then the feint left them off-balance for a future attack by you or an ally.

    ​Does that sound right?...
